  1. Way to name the only map they brought back from Halo 3.
  2. And obviously 343 has to listen to everything you say, and nothing everybody else says right? People who are playing the game stay off the forums and sit there playing Halo. The reason you think everybody agrees with you is because only people that have issues with the game come onto the forums. What if I don't like ARs? Huh? I'm going to quit the game, and it's all going to be because of people like you, not 343, because you're the one begging for a change. REmember not everything you say is right. Why ARs? Isn't that commonly referred to as a noob weapon? This isn't a hate thread. This is a hate thread towards hate threads. It's like disestablishmentarianism. Why can't I enjoy other games? It's not like AC3, BO2, FC3, and other hot games this year released right after Halo... I even go back to ME2 and ACB sometimes and play around, taking a break from Halo. That doesn't mean Halo is a failure. It has its flaws sometimes, but it doesn't just drop into the gutter. Let's direct this argument a little bit towards McDonalds. At Lunch break, there are 1 million people eating at McDonalds nationwide. But then, after lunch break, there's only 200,00 people! McDonalds is failing! And then a Burger King restaurant and Wendys and Sonic open right next door, and you've got yourself some marketing issues. Same thing applies here, 10k people playing at a time is pretty good, and those people are constantly switching. If you count all the different people that play it you've got a deent community. And also good sir, what joy does it give you to bring up stuff like that? "Oh George, statistically, you're morbidly obese! Haha!" Does saying things like that make you feel... big? Special? Important? Do you think your actions are just accepted by everybody and should be listened to? And let's say somehow 343 does agree with you. What's your goal? How does it make you feel to go around telling all the producers their games sucks, and then provide some biased information to "support" it? They made a game, you bought it, you didn't enjoy it, and now you want to make it better the next time. That's good feedback. Saying things just suck and then saying "everybody thinks it sucks" just puts yourself down and makes your opinion laughable.
  3. Yeah see, everybody. Look at this guy. Look at him. See him? Get a goooooodd look. This same argument is going to pop up for Halo 5.
  4. Back when I used to frequent the Bungie forums, Halo Reach and The Flood, I'd always see whiney babies sitting there typing whole blocks of texts. They included: To you Bungie.net people, I hope this post's title got your attention, lol, because we totally called it. We said: Honestly, it's just because everytime the generation of complainers of this current game end up growing up and getting used to it, and then a new generation comes in complaining. There's no need to bash 343 for every single thing you don't like. A polite rant would be fine, but pulling out statistics and opinion-based fact-opinions is just annoying IMO. Side note, I do have my own 2 cents to say. After a 2 month Spartan Ops that supposedly had a plot and then 7h45m campaign, this game has gotten rather boring. I might trade it in for AC3. This rather refutes my OP, but.... well.... the ranters have a point. I guess the secondary question from me to you guys from Bungie.net , is, lol, besides the OP talking about people complaining about this game, do you veterans think people actually have a right to complain this much? Every game was complained about a lot, but is this game really complainable? I want to see what you guys thinik.
  5. Oh ok. My fault with the hostility btw. For some reason I got mine for free, so I got to try out Extraction in online multiplayer. IT's not..... bad I guess.
  6. I've been playing Brotherhood and ME2 lately over Halo.
  7. YES YES YES! I GOT THE SAME THING! WHOOO! Whew. Hopefully yo uand I don't get banned
  8. NO no, It's just me. I'm the only one on here, and I never buy anything from the xbox live marketplace (dlc). That's why Im so hype I got something for free that I didn't expect, and also worried that MS might ban me or something stupid because I downloaded something I should've.
  9. No. And lol I just realized how much of a crying baby I Just sounded like. DOn't get me wrong guys, I'm just a mature gamer a little bit too hype over free content. It's like believing in Santa all over again.
  10. SO I went onto Xbox today and loaded up Halo 4 as usual. THere was a popup that said: "The Crimson map pack has been released!" I was like, oh boy, I have no money. only 240 msp. So, just to get that little yellow star off my main menu, I clicked Xbox LIve Marketplace. Instead of the usual lists of stuff we can buy, it instead popped up: "Confirm purchase: Crimson map pack". Just to be sure, I checked the price, and it said: "THis purchase: 0msp Your amount: 240msp." So I pressed download thinking it was a update, like the way they make multiplayer updates in Battlefield 3. I finish downloading it, and then I go into custom games out of curiousity, and BOOM! I have the maps. I'm like: "HOLY POOP!" and then I launch up a custom game. Lo and behold it works. Is this a glitch or something?
  11. HAHA I'm sorry sir. I meant multiplayer as in multiplayer, as in ONLINE multiplayer, not custom games. ---- And then suddenly! THere is light! ARe they offering Extraction only as early access? I always assumed it was going to be DLC exclusive forever. If that is not so, then I am highly mistaken in this post. Thank you sir. I guess you are right. Every once in a while I get over my head by some other kids who act the same way I do. My kind of behavior is contagious. :/
  12. yeah. It's cool. I enjoy it too but it sounds way too humany.
  13. You didn't even read my post. Extraction is on disk We can't play it in multiplayer They're charging us money to play it in multiplayer, since it's in the DLC ONLY playlist They're charging us money to play a gametype that we already have and that they've already created since day 1. Please actually read the post next time. No no no, good sir. I'm saying, YES YOU CAN PLAY IT IN CUSTOM GAMES! Can you play it in multiplayer now? NO! If you buy the DLC, can you play it in multiplayer? YES! Do you see something wrong with that? It's like paying for Infection or Dominion online multiplayer. Who's complaining about the playlists sucking?
  14. Wow! I just heard about this amazing new gametype called Extraction! It's absolutely innovating and completely unseen before! I'm going to pay $10 for it! . Well guys. If you think this hasn't been introduced to Halo 4 yet, you're wrong. It's hiding in your custom gametypes right now, so technically you can go start up a game of Extraction on Valhalla or such. . While the maps for the upcoming DLC pack do look interesting, the fact that they advertise their DLC with "a new gametype" is just bogus. We've had that gametype all along. It's kind of a bum move to create a new gametype, and then charge everybody $10 to actually play it in multiplayer matchmaking. What's the point in giving us access to the gametype if you were going to sell it to us anyway? The gametype was hiding in the custom gametypes the whole time, and now they "unveil" it to us as if it were something new. IMO it should've been in the multiplayer playlists from day 1, like Dominion. ........ Everybody here seems to be missing the point. RedStarRocket: ["...you do realise it's been on the disc since launch day, right? You don't need to pay for anything... or download anything... all that's changed is now they actually have a playlist for it in Matchmaking instead of just Custom Games..."] Thank you sir. That's exactly what I've been saying this whole time. It was already on the disc since day one, but now they're charging us $10 to play that gametype in multiplayer. Thanks for proving my point. Did you even read my posts? I didn't change it yet, everything I wrote it still all there.... Dawn Wolf: [Yes, we know. I mean, I get complaining about maps, but complaining about DLC playlist because it has a strange offbeat gametype that few people even care about? Really stretching.] Nobody's complaiing about the gametypes at all. I'm just saying, this gametype isn't new or anything, it's already on the disc. It should already be included in the multiplayer playlist rotations, but for some reason it WASN'T and now they're adding it in.. but only if you buy the DLC pack or cash out an extra $40 for the limited edition version. Did you even read my OP? I wasn't even complaining about the playlists... I was complaining they shouldn't make a cool gametype, put it on the disc day 1, and then tell us we need to buy the DLC in order to actually play it ONLINE. Yoshi: [Quit your crying you sound like a six year old ] ok. :/ Yes sir. But did you even read the post? No tears were shed.
