  3. A different company took the IP and made it better than any prior Bungie iteration. COD may sell more because #1 it is multi platform and caters to a vastly different community where as opposed to Halo which requires more skill and doesn't just feed you kills, in COD anyone can hop right in and do considerably well.
  4. Sometimes I see a different set of hoppers, and my SR gets set back to 0. Why does that happen? What you are seeing are “fallback hoppers”. When you enter this mode, you will see a UI notification. It shows up on the “Find Game” screen for War Games. In previous Halo titles, you’re dependent on the servers to get the information you needed for Matchmaing, and if they go down, you can’t play. Fallback hoppers are a new functionality for Halo 4, and they allow people to continue playing Halo 4 when there are server issues. In order to preserve the integrity of the online experience, there are some limitations to this functionality: • Reduced XP earn rate, counted as offline XP • Players in the fallback hopper cannot play with those that are using the regular server hoppers • Player customization is disabled (no armor, loadouts, emblem) Since the server isn’t actually available in fallback hopper mode, you’ll be missing functionality that the server provides. This includes: • Spartan Ops • File Share • Service Record • Commendations • Challenges • Double XP tokens You will automatically be switched to fallback hoppers if you fail to download a necessary file. You’ll remain in fallback hoppers for up to 10 minutes after the services return.   5. Yeah going into the fallback hopper will make it look like you only have 2 specs available. It's only temporary.
  6. You can always stick with the perk you get from one you like which is all you're really getting in the end is 10 levels to obtain the perk for that spec and armor skins. Having 50 levels per spec is insanity considering each at spec level 8 you need at least 60K+ xp.
  7. Never, ever show his face. Not showing his face keeps him as a representation of the ultimate hero. No face, no name other than John, his only duty, being a Spartan and protecting humanity.
  8. Indeed, 343i is the developer. MS is the publisher so calling 343i "a bunch of incompetents" just shows ignorance.
  9. Halo 4 surpassed everything that Bungie's done in every way imo. Multiplayer could stand some work here and there and although I miss Firefight, Spartan Ops is an alright replacement though.
  10. No but you can play it solo/private which is what I think people tend refer to.
  11. Ok so you don't like Wargames which was really your only point other than mentioning the Forge. There's plenty other stuff to do from the campaign to Spartan Ops. For instance, people have invested over 13million hours into the campaign and 17.9million into Wargames and Spartan Ops.
  12. If you play online Ep2 Clean Up or Gargarin with double XP you can score up to 11.9Kxp. Clean Up can be completed with a good squad in 6mins, Gargarin may take around 9-10ish.

  16. Check the challenge clock. It seems to reset following that 24 hour cycle in your time zone ie...2am PST
  17. Actually I beleive it resets on the challenge 24 hour cycle not midnight. For PST it resets at around 2am or so. I capped at 1am last night.
  18. Spartan Ops public game played with 3 other players nets about 12K double xp or 6K w/o while playing solo or private lands half that. The incentive is there to play online and be social. Just sayin.
  19. The supposed reeason for the cap is to slow down the rate of people getting access to the specializations too far ahead of other people. I think the cap is like 150K, some have said it's 75K while they "actively" monitor progression. It's still enough to gain a few levels a day at least until the 40s when it may net 1-2 levels a day.
