(I'm really busy this week so this is going to be a single article, on that note, lets begin) Welcome one and all to this weeks article! Article one: Why Red Dead Redemption isn't playable on the Xbox One, yet. As you all should know unless you've been living under a rock, Microsoft announced backwards compatibility for the Xbox one. However Red Dead Redemption the second leading game on the Xbox's One's poll for what games players would like to see on the Xbox One, is not on the list for the first batch of compatible games. (Its something to do with the licensing agreements) "After the technological breakthrough that got backwards compatibility working, the next step was to figure out how to license all this content, originally released on Xbox 360, for Xbox One," Microsoft engineer Richard Irving told Eurogamer. As you can imagine, publishers have cut very specific deals on some of that content. For example Madden you can imagine how many licenses go into a game with the players, the NFL, sponsors, and so on. And there's over 1000 games at this point on Xbox 360." Irving said it "didn't seem fair" to ask publishers to go out and obtain licenses for these games without knowing if there would be demand for them. So to that end, Microsoft opened a voting portal on its Xbox Feedback website where fans could demonstrate their interest in any games that ever came out on the Xbox 360. Armed with that information, Microsoft then reached out to publishers about specific games and said "Please let us know if this is something you can do" Irving said about obtaining the required licenses. He then added that, ultimately, it's publishers who decide if they want to approve their Xbox 360 titles to be playable on Xbox One. This obviously takes times, which is why Microsoft was not able to deliver all of the top 50-100 most requested games. On the subject of Red Dead Redemption specifically, Irving said, "We're definitely engaged with all of our publisher and developer partners including Rockstar (The developers of Red Dead Redemption) on when and how we can deliver on that fan feedback." Previously Microsoft said they would be supporting hundreds of backwards compatible games on the Xbox One so it looks like all hope is not yet lost and Red Dead Redemption could be coming in the future! Alright, I’ve tried writing this so many times and it just has not worked and heck, my Mom month is running out fast so lets get this done. Welcome one and all to my Mom post! So the first question to get out the way is why has this Mom post been so late? It’s because of so many factors. Fallout 4, myself being very busy and me not really knowing what to put here. This is usually the part where I would put a bunch of member’s names here and talk about why I like them or something like that but I’m not doing that. Because to be honest I like every member here and even if I didn’t it just feels bad to write members names up and tell everyone those I like and those I don’t. So I’m skipping the usual meat and going straight for the bones if you catch my meaning. Because originally I was going to do a lot more but I think the best thing I could do it try to get my message across so that's what I'm going to do. Mom wish time! What I want is something interesting. Its not a Caboose emote, or something else I can use to make fun of Jack or anything smart like that. I honestly just want this place to be active because right now it’s nothing short of a ghostown. Seriously at this point it’s really hard to motivate myself to spend two hours making news articles for hardly anyone to like or post on them. Or the semi weekly site poll or even log on here at all I have not even had anything close to a full out conversation in the shoutbox in weeks, most stuff is brief, and the only new topic thing apart from whatever gets pushed out by the news team is pure Halo 5 hate. (Granted some members do occasionally make new topics so keep doing that!) So all of this made me realise how dead this place has really become. So what I want you guys to try and do is to be a little more active. Post more, get in the shoutbox just a little more. Make new topics and like whatever you consider to be a quality post. Be it a news article, event sign up, a quality or funny post or perhaps one of RedStarRockets "novels" Try and liven this place up a bit! I was thinking of writing a wisecrack but I really think this is the most serious I’ve ever been on this site. Because if you have not noticed, I really like this place. I don’t even have an Xb1 and may not ever get one at this rate yet I stay here just the interaction. So it’s saddening to see this place become a ghostown. Many members may never even see this, but as long as one person does, then mission accomplished. Eh, a lot of the games just feel pointless though. Sure there is Halo Reach on there and Bioshock but that's small fish. And as you known in the big sea of games, that's most certainly, small fish. Look at that game list, who asked for some of those? The top 10 right now are: 1 Black Ops II (Not added) 2 Red Dead Redemption (Not added, but Rockstar are clearly weary of the idea) 3 Skyrim (Not added, but the most possible of all as the first thing Bethesda did with the new hardware was port Skyrim onto it) 4 Call of Duty MW2 (Not added) 5 Halo Reach (Thank the Nine) 6 Call of Duty Black Ops Not added) 7 Fallout 3 (Added) 8 Gears of War 3 ( Added) 9 Call of Duty MW2 10 Call of Duty world at war 11 Mass effect 3 12 Fallout New Vegas 13 Left 4 dead 2 14 Bioshock infinite 15 Gta 4 16 Batman Arkham City 17 Mass Effect 2 Now then look at these games, see what's added and what's not, not much. Half the games being added are already on the One. And the others cater so such a small minority such as Zuma or perfect Dark, who asked for those?! These top one's are the games that should be added first because they were the first asked for or hell, the first 10 at least!

If Halo Reach and Black Ops were not on the list this post would have turned into an angry rant. This list is nothing but disappointing though. Sonic, Zuma, perfect Dark, who asked for these godawful games to be added? What about the games in the Xbox Poll like Read Dead Redemption, where are amazing games like that on there? Not like it helps that a lot of the games on the list are games already on the Xbox One. At E3 this looked to be Microsoft's trump card, now, not so much.

It actually much worse than that. Only Halo Spartan assault is supported despite the fact its already on the XB1. Fallout 3 is also supported too. And that's about it from your list.

Adding local splitscreen into Halo 5 Guardians is simply impossible. To add it 343 would have to completely rework the engine and the game and rerelease it and of course, they are not going to do that.

I have no idea why you mentioned Fallout 4 (That game gives us a ton of options0 but the reason why the game cannot go down to 30fps is because it simply cannot. The game's engine is entirely designed around 60fps bringing it down in that significant way would pretty much make the game unplayable since the whole game is built around 60fps. So that's why your wish can sadly never come true for Halo 5.

Guess what day it is? Monday (Depending on the timezone or time you read this) but what makes Monday so special? Site poll time is the answer, so lets begin with an awesome picture! Halo 5 is obviously the most recent entry in the franchise and also set a few records such as being the fastest selling Xbox One exclusive. It did have a fantastic hype campaign after all I will give it that. This weeks question will touch upon arguably one of the most controversial topics in the Halo franchise to date. I'd be all up for proximity chat but restricting party access is just dumb and is a terrible idea. Those gamemodes would become ghost towns in seconds.

Orion does have bad spawn camping though and a lot of exploits that amaze me that 343 didn't see them during testing. Every gaming company interacts with the gaming community, just do different extents.
