  1. Original Article over at IGN: http://www.ign.com/a...ficial-art-book This week the cover art for the Halo 4 Art Book was revealed. 343 industries will provide tons of concept art as well as commentary on the art and creative process used in the creation of a video game. One thing about this new image that interested me is the obvious ships circling the massive tower type structure. They could be covenant Seraphs or a new Promethean ship. Also this image leads to believe that the tower structure that Master Chief is staring at takes a major role in the game. Otherwise they would have made the image without Master Chief staring at it. The book will be getting released in the month of September just before the release of Halo 4 and will be published by Titan Books. It will be hardcover, so maybe consider picking one up for your coffee table. EDIT: Victory Element may have made quite a find here on the Cover of the Primadorium. I'll post the quote here for easier comparison. EDIT 2: While looking through old Halo 4 concept art for clues to what this could be I was confronted by a very familiar concept image. Does anybody else see the similarities between the original Halo 4 art book cover art and the object in this concept. EDIT 3: TheDarkestHour has found yet another possible image to compare with in the form of the new Halo books cover. All credit for this particular find goes to him.
  2. It needs to be strongly downplayed so that it doesn't play as much of a role in War Games. It also shouldn't be visible. If they do those two things then It will be fine in Halo 4.
  3. Well we actually have that in the form of the Promethean Grenade. I imagine that we will be getting the Firebomb Grenade back for Spartan Ops and Campaign only. While the Spike Grenade from Halo 3 was very cool you have to consider that it worked almost the same way as a plasma grenade and didn't fill in any niches. I imagine that they will be bringing the Firebomb back.
  4. Wow I've never despised audio in a video so much before LOL. The shotgun looks very nice. Satisfying to shoot. I wonder which one is more powerful right now the Scattershot or the Shotgun.
  5. I fully support this idea. We had it for Firefight in Halo Reach (Sgt. Johnson FTW), so why shouldn't we have it in Halo 4 Spartan Ops.
  6. I'm sorry but none of those things take that much skill as I know it lol. Anybody can hit a button and instantly perform any of those actions. But the real issue is that when somebody with Armor Lock is nearing death they just throw it down for as long as they can. Which takes absolutely no skill whatsoever.
  7. Armor Lock generally does not take skill. Here's why, when you are about to die you just go into Armor Lock and hope that an ally saves you before you run out. That does not take any amount of skill. Also while it never kills warthogs and wraiths, it is very good at EMPing them and resulting in them getting taken out.
  8. Updated the OP stating your help in this most noble cause.
  9. No it is a brand named after Sea Nut to show respect for his fabulous deeds. In 2067 Sea Nut is all that is standing between the complete flooding of the worlds corn fields with milk by the conspiracy. This peanut butter company is simply honoring Sea Nut's name. Consider this a warning. The future is a very dangerous place full of evil monsters in all corners of the world.
  10. Quick the Conspiracy has pin-pointed this thread as the site of the milkbone construct. You must delve to the center of the archipalego generating room and take the secret artifact to a safe location. Sea Nut will meet with you there. The future is dependent on you defeating the milk.
  11. So the world might seem like a complicated place when looked at from a broader perspective. But when you get a little closer you'll reakize just how simple it really is. There are three different sections. You have the common man who just want to live their life. You have the conspirators, clouded by exsessive milk of the brain. And then you have Glorious Sea Nut. This forum needs a Sea Nut to guard it self from the conspiracy of the milk. Vote for who you think should be our Sea Nut. The Sea Nut that this forum deserves, but not the one that it needs right now. LONG LIVE SEA NUT!!! ~SweamyBagels~ Leader of the Dragon Omega (against the Conspiracy) Boy Brony = Sky Bananna (defender of the realm) Guardian Angel of Death = Grim Reaper (Smashes stuff) The High Council Armada = Allies who help in this noble cause. Sea Nut = ????? (Mystery)
  12. Congratz on the one year birthday Donut. You smallcaps named guy you.
  13. 1. Saturday 2. Halo 3 3. No but there should certainly be one anyway. Good luck with this playdate by the way.
  14. Congratz on dedicated. Hopefully you won'y have to make a third one
  15. No, I imagine that it will be like the auto-sentries that help you defend the pyramid on Halo 3's final level "Halo"
  16. Primary Weapons: You can start with BR, DMR, Carbine, Assault Rifle, and Storm Rifle. Secondary Weapons: You can start with Magnum and Plasma Pistol. Grenades: You can start with Frags, Plasmas, and Prometheans. Perks: You can have Thruster Pack, Hardlight Shield, Jetpack, Auto-sentry, and I think that Hologram was mentioned. Packages: You choose one and it helps you by befitting your specific playstyle. There is one called Firepower that allows for two primary weapons, one called resupply that allows you to pick grenades up, ect.
  17. Agreed. On such a large open map where there are teleporters, vehicles, and covered caves it is easy to T-Bone campers. I also have to give a shout-out to Countdown which can offer some very good tactical gameplay of a completely different type.
  18. Probably not as powerful as I'd like it to be. I heard that in Halo: CE the pistol was only as powerful as it was because of a bug in the game. When they reversed the magnum to it's crappy little self in Halo 2 I believe they meant for it to stay that way.
  19. How can you conclude that a very new company that has yet to release a game is better than one of the greatest video game developers of all time. From what we've seen it could go either way but in my opinion it will take way more than 1 decent game to win me over. No comment on how wrong this statement is. Perhaps there would be specific elements of it that might be missing, but to say they wouldn't exist is downright incorrect. Here's another way to think of it, since all literature spawns from other literature, I could say that If it weren't for Sanscript writing on stones many thousands of years ago, then Halo wouldn't exist. I believe that it is three to be exact, though they are all in prominent positions within the company.
  20. Not in any custom loadout? Maybe it was a game like shotty snipers or something? Anyway I'd love to see these screens. Link if you can please.
