We love what you are doing, but the Legendary Edition is a tradition for us fans: safeguard what fans love." This petition is created for all who want an Halo 4 Legendary Edition. 343 Industries announced only the Limited Edition for the its new game Halo 4 of the famous series of videogames: Halo created by Bungie Studios and published by Microsoft. The reason of 343 Industries about this choice is this: "There will be two options available at retail for Halo 4 - the regular version of the game and the aforementioned Limited Edition. We decided to focus our efforts on a single special edition instead of numerous ones so you wouldn’t have to pick and choose between what ancillary items you want. Now your primary choice is whether or not you just want the game, or the game along with all the goodies." The Limited Edition is very generous with downloable contents and of course has a good price. BUT Halo is famous for its "Legendary Edition" with AMAZING exclusive content like the Master Chief's helmet in Halo 3 or the Diorama of the Noble Team in Halo: Reach. Halo 4 will be the first game of a new trilogy made by 343 Industries and will have a lot of new features so we think that is necessary starting at top, creating a Legendary Edition for all the fans with something very special. I have purchased halo, halo 2 limited edition, halo 3 legendary, halo reach legendary, and halo wars limited edition. I did not buy the limited edition for odst, as i had enough controllers already. I'm sorry to say i will not be purchasing the limited edition for halo 4, it offers nothing to me like halo 3 and reach did. There never was a problem about confusing the player base over what edition to get, you knew legendary was 150 bucks but it got you something truly legendary, a master chief helmet or the awesome noble team statue, both of which sit on my desk proudly. I don't understand 343, you take over for bungie and want to prove you got what it takes and make this a hit yet you leave out the one reason i proudly spent money on the legendary editions at all. This is honestly one huge letdown for me. Instead of being one of your huge fans that goes to the midnight release to get escorted to the car by a nice security guard with the giant box of win, i wont be getting anything halo 4 until after the first price decrease, and i wont bother with the baddie limited edition. Unfortunately they completely contradicted this statement with the preorder choices. If they were to add something to the Limited Edition though I would want it to be another disc where the development team discusses the challenges they encountered while developing the game. Another reason that makes a lot of sense for not making one is, if no noticed in the past, reach esecially, There were a lot of extra copies of the Legendary Edition... A lot of which was probably from people pre-ordering and not picking up their copies.. to the point that at GameStop at least, a couple of copies were left and not purchased for so long that the price dropped to $65 just to get rid of them.
