Pope 138 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Share Posted February 23, 2012 When it was announced that Reach would have a reduced jump hieght I toyed around with the idea of toggling crouch. I still haven't done this, but after a several month hiatus from Reach I'm considering doing it when I return to the game. I'm pretty sure jump-crouching isn't as important in Reach as in other Halo games, and I never tea-bag so this might be the way to go for the sneaky spartan. What do you think? Is jump-crouching too important to sacrifice? Are there any forseeable problems with this that I may be overlooking? I have tried toggle crouch, but it has failed me many more times than it has proven effective. I completely agree, it is a major pet peeve of mine for as long as I can remember. I played default in H 2 and H3 and Recon in Reach and it annoys me to no end. I hope their is a way in the future to customize the controller button layout in the future. Nice point. No one needs to tell me to try another layout, it is what I play and it comes natural to me. Archangel Tyrael Posted March 6, 2012 Report Share Posted March 6, 2012 Hmm, hold crouch seems to be good for jumping..and toggle seems good for crouching to stay hidden without holding the button down in multiplayer.
