Gears of War 3, the Xbox 360's best-selling platform exclusive for 2011, would've sold even more had it not been the most pirated Xbox 360 game of 2011, according to TorrentFreak.com. Almost one million copies of Epic Games' chainsaw-bayonetted trilogy-ender -- 890,000, to be precise -- were illicitly downloaded on Torrent sites after (and in some cases, before) its September 20 release. Also popular among ne'er-do-wells was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (830,000 Torrent downloads), Battlefield 3 (760,000), Forza Motorsport 4 (720,000), and Kinect Sports: Season Two (690,000). Remember kids, crime doesn't pay.
