Honor Guard Armor For Halo Veterans

On MCC, I say anyone who has played The following should get the veteran elite armor:

 

Halo CE

Halo 2

Halo 3

Halo 3 ODST

Halo Reach

 

At least 4 of those games and you get your reward. Sounds and looks cool right?

Honor Guard Armor should be an achievement unlock, not something to drive a wedge between old and new fans of the series. It's best to make things possible to earn from the moment you learn of them, rather than nearly inaccessible to a certain group.

 

And this is coming from someone who has played those games, minus ODST.

2 of those games most likely wouldn't be counted at all (CE and 2) so uh yeah and as AP said it would put a wedge in between new and old fans

Either way you get it, I think this is a great idea. The Elite Honour Guard Armour could be my favourite armour set (for Elites). I'd love to see this in-game. If 343 do this, I'd play as an elite far more than I used to.

There will be unlocks in Halo 5 regarding achievements and feats.

Good point, but we'll most likely see this in MCC if it ever happens because the the time periods. One reason this may not happen, is because this was never a part of Halo: CE, 2, 3, or 4.
