He grew up with the impression that the Pathfinders were the cool guys and worked hard to become one. He was sent on ordinary intelligence missions through out his career, but he never was assigned to anything on this scale. At the start of the war he was sent out to get information on the problems in Europe. It grew more and more apparent that the USA would have to get involved. Yes, the GLA has ties with every country in the sense everyone hates them to bits. But GLA cells are operating in every part of the world, from the US to China. Role: Leopard 3 Commander Brief History: Living in Ireland until the end of the Global war on terror, John was always interested in tanks and armored warfare, taking a deep interest in the Subject. Going on to do courses in Military history, John always imagined himself getting a job as a lecturer at a university. However, the economic slump Europe was in made finding a job difficult, forcing John to go from place to place in search of work. With the rise of the ECA, John applied to join the armoured corps. Hoping to be assigned to a tank at first, he was somewhat annoyed when he was assigned to a Pandur AT IFV. Still, despite his disappointment, he handled the vehicle well during the GLA conflict. His chance finally came when he was re-assigned to command a Leopard 3. His chance to prove himself did not wait long and he soon found himself at the Germany/Poland border waiting for the frontlines to come to him. Since that day, he's been fighting the same retreating battle as the ECA, before finding himself at the Pyreneess, waiting for the last stand. He was then promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the Pathfinder branch for his expertise in the field. He spent numerous campaigns in several countries across the world. He know hundreds of contacts from all over the globe. His family served in American inolved war since WWI. He was betrayed by a Russian who turned him in after a mission just outside of Moscow. He barely escaped. He was recently sent to London to gather Intel on the conflicts in Europe. Alright, this doesn't seem bad, but I spotted a few problems, the first thing that jumped out at me (might seem like nitpicking a bit) But you stated your character was "6 foot tall, 200 pounds" and then followed with "slim and muscular" first of all, 200 pounds is a lot, probably over the weight limit in the army, but let's say it wasn't, it still doesn't make sense to call him "slim" so either heavy or slim, which one? Your weapons and equipment seem mostly in order, your brief history is where I scratch my head though. You say he was 18, and then two years later involved in a battle in which he was one of the only few survivors, gathered intelligence along the way, and helped win it... Which battle was this again? In Ledgend's lore, he said the US mostly remained back, and the one major battle they had, they lost, at Kurmuk. If this was a war BEFORE their recession, your guy is bound to be very old for military standards. Very few last in the army for 5 years (at least), especially 18 year olds. Also, you aren't just 'promoted' after a battle, many privates who serve valiantly on the field come out of the battle with the same rank, even if they were some of the last men standing, to go further, he had to be a recruit at this time... Did he jump a huge number of ranks with one battle? Further put... Why is this here: "His family served in American inolved war since WWI." It... Doesn't help the story, you just kind of said his family has military lineage... Okay then. Further, besides the Alexsander incident, Russia didn't really have horrible relations with the US, let alone them being in a state of "Shoot any US/Russians on sight" so why was your guy betrayed again? Further, how did he escape? And what purpose did he have being in Russia? Russia is obviously armed quite well, even if they were enemies, there's no logical way he could escape an entire military without being spotted. Besides that, it seems fine. I'm not sure if Ledgend allows Tacpads, but he said no to Cloaking Devices. Covie only(I think) So if you edit your bio and get rid of the cloaking device, then you should be in order to RP.
