A machinima is what Red vs Blue is. Its a style of filming that you do with a video game, rather than in real life. All you do is act it out in a game, and film it. To my knowledge it only works when you are in "local Network" mode. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that mean if we wanted to do a proper machinima Web Show episode, that we need to have our xbox's system linked...like we all have to be in one spot...not across the world? However, with either larger weapons (i.e. Rocket Launcher/Fuel Rod), and with smaller weapons (i.e. pistols) you look fine with them up. Plus we could totally make it work with the weapons up. I guess the only way to truly find out, would be to have everyone in the lobby, switch their netwrok settings to "local" and see what happens? ***EDIT*** Nevermind, I almost completely forgot there is a way around it. Everyone who is gonna body act just needs to get a hold of a copy of XBC.
