Harvester

My theories about the harvester.

 

-it is related to the scarab, if you look around, you can see Lekgolo worms.

 

-it is possibly a living creature. This is more absurd but the surfaces all seem moist, and grey. It doesn't look covenant. And in the part at the back, there is a structure that looks like a spine. It may be a dead one, or not at all, but its possible.

 

What does anyone else think?

never really looked at it, just did the op. ill take a look either when theather comes out with spartan ops or when im working on legendary, whichever comes first.

 

what i mean by "never really looked at it" is i only glanced at it when i was sprinting towards the objective

It's possible that it's another form of Lekgolo, just as Bungie said there was.

It's waaaay bigger than a Scarab, but definitely operated by Lekgolo worms. Hunters are one of the smallest colonies of the Worms.

I think it was a living creature but meched up haha. It is like a scarab but taller with spindly legs and a more round short body. It has a beam like the scarab also. I would have pefered to see a scarab to the harvester but it was still very interesting.

Harvesters are evidently mining vehicles. The Reach/3 Scarab was a combat Scarab. The H2 was a mining one that was modified to be combat ready.

Looks cool, but pretty sure it exists as terrain rather then an object.

It might was a disabled Forerunner vehicle, so the Covenant restored it and inserted Legkolo worms to gain control of the Harvester.

Maybe a Scarab-like hybrid made to be worked by the Worms, so a sort of bio mechanical thing.
