The sentiniels making up the planet picked up and left when Kurt destroyed to room in the center of the planet. Kelly was in a way assisting the Dr. but Dr. halsey kidnaped her and brought her to Onyx shortly after reach fell. all that is left of Onyx is a Micro Dyson Sphere, which happens to have Kelly, the spartan III's, Dr. Halsey, and Chief Mendez.
