Why is there no Good Connection/Region Search Option?

Why is there no option to search Good Connection or select a Region where you can search specifically for people in that region? I'm already sick and tired of versing americans and playing on Yellow Bar

 

Please 343i, include the option for a GC search! <3

I just posted similar thread. Would love it if games allowed these preferences. Region would be awesome.

I know 343 said that "search Good Connection" is part of the default search parameters, but the truth is that it doesn't work properly. It maybe fine for people in the USA, but those people are not the only country that has people playing Halo. I live in Australia and 9 times out of 10 I get placed in a US hosted game.

I feel like 343 says a lot... Matchmaking seems designed to get you in games fast. That was the default in Reach. I'm sad they took stuff out of this game instead of improving on it. Well, I guess removing armor lock was nice.
