  1. Introduction As many of you may have noticed, I've been quite excited for something called Ubuntu. Ubuntu is a free, open-source operating system (OS). The basic programming is built off of an OS, called Linux. Being free, this operating system is great for starting off a custom made computer, or just to replace an OS in some crummy old computer. In my case, I replaced Windows XP. My computer is only an Intel Pentium 4, with 2GB RAM, and less than 512 MB of video memory. These specs are outdates by 6 years, at least. Basicallly, this computer is, or was (until now) useless. I will review Ubuntu down below. GUI/Design The design of Ubuntu is very elegant. There is a side drawer, which very beautiful, and translucent. In fact, there isn't much to says, so I will let you all decide for yourselves, with a screen shot from my computer. Functionality & Features I feel that I made a good decision with Ubuntu, as it provides an amzing array of features that XP didn't have. It includes Ubuntu Software Center, which is like the App Store, or the Play Store on Google devices. Not only does it have amazing free games, etc, but you can also get traditional desktop programs, which then are put as shortcuts on your actual desktop. In terms of quality, Ubuntu is very good. For a free price, you would expect poor quality, yet I have to say, that it actually beats Windows XP. Also, I did not expect this, but my boot time was EXCEPTIONALLY better. Normally it would take 15 seconds to start up, then about 30 seconds to fully login. With this OS, I was at the login screen within 5 seconds, and it took me 10 seconds MAXIMUM to login. My theory on this is, that Ubuntu takes up less hard drive space, which allows for it to startup faster all together. Speaking of which, this OS requires very minimal system requirements, as it can run if you have 1GB+ RAM, at least (around) 10GB, and a processor which runs at least at 2GhZ. This also includes a beautifu; search bar which is much like iOS, that allows you to search your computer, the internet, your (free) 5GB cloud storage, and much more. The Verdict Ubuntu is worth downloading in order to replace Windows XP, or Vista. You can get features from Windows 8, that you couldn't before, due to lack of money to buyWindows 8, or low system specifications. I GIVE IT 9.5/10 Near perfect! Especially for the price!

    Clip help

Just had a quick question, I had a dazzle but sold because it was overall ****ty, but is there anyway i can get clips from my Halo 4 theater and transfer them to my computer for editing purposes?
  6. Do you think 343 should put the Halo franchise back onto PC as well as Xbox? and if so should they allow cross platform multiplayer? I think that it should be on pc with cross platform support but pc players do not get the aim assist and there can be controller only settings for parties that force pc players to use a controller if they join the party.
