  1. They were all on Shatter from the Crimson DLC.
  2. Should have looked at this thread before making one, my bad. The Bigfoot achievement won't unlock. I have 23 Mantis Stomps on the Shatter map from the Crimson DLC and I still have yet to recieve the achievement.
  3. I checked on Waypoint and it says I have 23 stomp kills with the mantis, but the Bigfoot achievement hasn't unlocked yet. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there any fix for it?
  4. The only issue I have with this achievement is that it is not unlocking. I have 23 kills on Shatter with the Mantis Stomp and the achievement has not unlocked yet.
  5. The achievement Dedicated to Crimson is not unlocking for me. I have completed every chapter of every episode for Spartan Ops on Heroic. However it says on my service record I have only completed 23 out of 25 of the missions on Heroic. Should I simply play through episode 5 again and see if it unlocks? Is anyone else having trouble with this? I have had a glitch in the past with Episode 4 where I played through every mission and it said in my service record missed one (said 19 completed). So I restarted the chapter and recieved credit for all five after finishing chapter 2. If anyone has any information please help, thank you.

    Cortana Chip

Hey, so my link for this site wasn't working for...a while, so I haven't been here for a bit. Anyhoo, I got the notice for the update as I booted up Reach about an hour ago, and it gave me a chance to download something called the "Cortana Chip" via marketplace, I think it said it was an avatar item. I declined at first, not knowing what it was, but in my search for it through the Halo Reach marketplace I haven't been able to locate it. Any idea what it is/where I can locate it?
  8. I foresee many an exploding grunt ruining my day. Just sayin
  9. Oh god I would buy a Caboose, Sarge, or Tucker voice in a heartbeat.
  10. I like armor abilities. That's all I have to say.
  11. So fun trolling people on the enemy team with the loud horn. Just roll up by their base, blast it a few times, and wait. They come to 'kill' you in your little cockpit, then your team jumps out and spanks them.
  12. ODST with first upgrade all the way
  13. I miss when the energy sword would glow on invisible enemies during campaign. "Alright, let's check this room." *scopes around, spots energy sword, aims just above the hilt*
  14. I must be one of the few people that rarely has an issue with armor lock. Yeah, it was annoying for three weeks when the game first came out, then again when the holiday season hit. Ever since, I haven't had any rage inducing moments against armor lock. I'm kinda stuck in a gray spot. See, I've been playing since CE came out, and I absolutely love the old school feel of Halo multiplayer. But with Reach, seeing as it is a stand alone (of sorts) from the trilogy, it should have a different feel than the trilogy. And to be honest, at first when I sprinted I felt like it was CoD, but if anything I've realized that it only helps quicken the pace of the game. And armor lock lasts for a whole five seconds, that isn't enough to drag the game out as everyone here says it does. If anything, that just saves you five seconds of each person dancing around one another trying to get that last hit and gives each player a moment to reset themselves and reevaluate the tactics of the given situation. So yes, I admit it, I like armor abilities. That being said, I feel they should stay in Reach and away from the MC.
  15. Armor lock - I like the idea where you can't just repeatedly spam it. Use the full bar or don't use it at all. Betrayals - I do admit that getting betrayed over a weapon is annoying and the booting system needs a reboot (pun intended). Another time where betrayals are out of control is in Infection. In one hour of playing, every game had at least three people just running around betraying people. The fact that there is NO booting in Infection is rediculous.
  16. More customization on your Spartan would be sick. Adding different preset patterns (to avoid having penises allover the place) that you can put on the shoulders, thighs, chest, etc. Adding more things like backpacks for the characters, too.

    visor and dmr/br

The damage to the visor thing was cool for Lone Wolf, but I feel that should be a one time deal. One of the few things I dislike about CoD is how it looks like someone smears red jam allover your screen every time you get shot.
  18. I think infection or invasion could work well with flood characters.

    Black armor,

What with every one of my online tags having 'Hawk' in it, you can only imagine how disappointed I was to not see it in Reach.

    Black armor,

I miss black so much. Also, BRING BACK THE FREAKIN HAWK ICON!
  21. They already have a bunch of Marine armor types available from the other games, so I don't know if Sergeant Johnson's armor would be made available as it's just generic armor with a military cap. Elite armor would be amazing
  22. I don't think it would contradict the book canon because the Cryptum series has yet to finish, and we haven't seen how (or if) the Precursors fought and defeated the Flood, how the Flood was really created, and who the original enemy of the Flood was. All that the book said was that (as you stated) the Humans and San 'Shyuum secretly fought the Flood at the same time that the Forerunners were waging war on the 'expanding' Human-San 'Shyuum empire (when they were actually running for their lives from the Flood), and then goes on about the Humans beating the Flood back out of our galaxy and then the Humans in turn being defeated by the Forerunner. So in the next few books we could very well find out how the Precursors fought and defeated the Flood, which would eliminate any contradiction.
  23. Pre-ordered and will pay it off in a week or two. Just too lazy to go back to the store
  24. I would suggest it if you are interested in the expanded universe. And you don't have to have read any of the other novels or comics to read this one.
  25. It is the first in a series (not sure if it is actually gunna be a series or not) that follows the adventures of a young Forerunner as he discovers the origins of the Flood, the Halos, and the Precursors (ancient civilization from long before the Forerunner).
