    Getting straight to the point we need your help to make the channel better in simple terms.

    We want to upload content YOU want to watch. We also want your feedback and suggestion on how we can improve the channel so please answer fully and honestly.

  5. Should I Get Destiny?

    Don't listen to Caboose on the subject he is very misinformed

     

    Destiny has improved a lot and has turned into a fun experience. I personally don't love it just because I don't have the time to play it. Its a game that requires grinding and while this is great for people who want to sink in a lot of time into a game and you will have fun I personally dont have that time due to work and school.

     

    Although one thing Destiny does right is these Daily missions that let you play the game in short bursts and still feel like youre moving ahead and progressing. One of the few console games that does this and its what motivates me to pick up and play Destiny once in awhile

     

    But back to my point if you're gonna get Destiny. Wait! Until The Taken King comes out this September 15th and get the Taken King bundle with the base game that way you have loads more content then just buying the game now.

     

     

    All in all I enjoyed Destiny for the 80+ hours I have in it. I don't regret buying it and I still plan on playing. (except when Halo 5 and Fallout 4 come out :drool: )

     but not any type Splitscreen. :)

    It supports splitscreen in Multiplayer not in Co-Op

     

     

    To answer your question OP Lan should be a feature but I dont remember it being confirmed or not.

     

    Another problem you guys have to encounter is that you need to INSTALL the game before playing it. Which means you will have to wait for all your Xbox Ones to finish installing Halo 5 before playing together so make sure you have that handled before doing anything (this only really applies if youre doing this Lan the same night of release)

  8. Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has passed away at age 55.

    An official statement issued by Nintendo has reported that long time Nintendo president Satoru Iwata passes away at age 55  due to a bile duct growth for which he has previously been treated for. He did not attend E3 2014 because of the treatment for his condition. 

     

    He first began with the company by working with HAL(game development studio who are closely affiliated with Nintendo) during 1983 after graduating with a degree in Computer Science. He would later become president of HAL in 1993. He was responsible for creating games the likes of Kirby and EarthBound during his time with HAL. He later then took a position at Nintendo in 2000 in corporate and just 2 years later in 2002 became Nintendo's fourth president. He also helped work on popular franchises such as Mario, Zelda, and Animal Crossing. 

     

    This news is a tremendous loss to Nintendo fans. A highly respectable CEO who even cut his pay in 2014 after the Wii U's poor sales. He was a perfect fit for Nintendo.

    Even if you do not like Nintendo take a moment to appreciate that Iwata was not just a CEO. He loved games just as much as any of us and was never afraid to laugh or crack cheesy Nintendo jokes. He respected the industry a move few CEO's don't make. 

     

    Rest in peace Iwata.

  13. What are your thoughts of Minecraft story mode?

    Minecraft just seems like a waste.

     

    The beauty of Minecraft was the lack of actual lore and how players were made to interpret the world themselves. All these crazy and compelling fan theories were a result of Minecrafts specific design choice to primarily focus on gameplay. However this just seems like something forgettable. I like Telltale games but it doesn't fit a Minecraft setting. Are we going to make choices like "Do I build the house out of wood or cobblestone?" :hrhr:

     

    I have a feeling what is really going to happen is they're going to introduce a story into Minecraft and explain the world in far too much detail and I don't like that. I like what little it has. Its what made younger me use my imagination to figure out what the origins of my character and story were.  I don't want future kids going into Minecraft and have that experience taken away from them. I want them to use their own thoughts and come up with their own story on what The Ender really is or what the players purpose really is. I don't want "Oh well the Ender exists for reason X and that is why there is only one Ender Dragon" and I'm afraid that is what this game will do. It will add a background story to Minecraft. A background it doesn't need.

     

    Most games these days have everything setup before hand. Games decades ago didn't.(This was the result of limitations hardware had at the time) and instead they relied on the clever design decision of using art to convey the story. They allowed games to interpret elements of the game in their own way while providing just the amount of story they need.

     

     

    I'm going on an endless rant but I just hope this is a novelty game and nothing major. My hope is that this is "something neat for MC fans" and not "This explains the background story for everything Minecraft"

  14. Halo 5 Guardians - Weapon variants and skins

    . Again, Halo 5 is NOT, I repeat NOT an arena shooter. It is the furthest thing from it.

    You're just not keeping up with whats going on with Halo 5

     

    It has two SEPARATE Multiplayer modes

     

    Arena = Equal starts. Same as Halo CE - 3. We played the Halo 5 Arena Beta so we know this is true.

     

    Warzone = A more casual approach with elements taken more from Halo 4. It is an entirely separate experience from Arena multiplayer. Warzone has its own maps dedicated for Warzone only(since the maps are so big) and Warzone cannot be played in custom games and is dedicated servers only(due to the X1's limitations since Warzone features 24 players + AI.) Halo 5 Warzone was playable at E3 and we know this above information to be true.

     

    With Halo 5 you do not have to touch Warzone at all. So yes it is an Arena shooter. However what you mean to say is that Warzone is the farthest thing ever from Arena multiplayer, and thats OK!!! Options! Choices! Let people pick what they want to play!

     

     

    Now about your comments on earning REQ packs.....

    We're not entirely sure how long it will take. Basic idea is that you earn them for leveling up and good performance. However REQ packs in the Arena portion of multiplayer are cosmetic only. They provide 0 benefits and are only for looks. REQ packs in Warzone do provide weapon variants that can give you a slight edge in battle. However this is counter-balanced with Warzones energy system. I would love to explain it but this post is long enough. The short version is that this energy system prevents players from starting off with GOD TIER ASSAULT RIFLE XX and rather they have to earn this weapon by earning points throughout the match. Based on players reactions to the energy system from the time Halo players at E3 got to play it. The general reaction is that its fair. The energy system works in way that lets the match slowly get more intense with everyone starting on foot then in the late game of the match there are vehicles and things grow hectic, etc. 

     

    Leveling up in the Halo 5 Arena Beta wasnt a hassle or a time waster. So it would be safe to assume you earn one REQ pack per level-up or good performance. Of course it is unfortunate for those who do have lives and cannot play Halo as much as others but the sad truth there can be no perfect system to accommodate everyones needs. 

     

     

    343i has given us options with Halo 5. Those of us who wanted a return to classic Halo MP now have the Arena portion(and if you want to argue against Spartan Abilities, etc. Those can be turned off in custom game settings so the community can host their own tournaments without Spartan Abilities.) and those of us who wanted the Halo 4 approach now have Warzone. There are very few things to be mad about regarding the approach 343i has taken. Of course it could be an utter flop but so far things their ears are tuned to what the community is saying and they have been reacting on that feedback in a way that answers the wants the community at large has.

     

     

     

    TL;DR

    Halo 5 has two multiplayer modes

    Arena which is akin to Halo CE - 3

    Warzone which resembles Halo 4 and modern shooters.

    They are separate and you can play only one if you like

    Halo 5 is Arena shooter confirmed.

    Self-Destruct is already dead. All crew will report to our dead mate for role clarification. Any crew members that fail to report before the marked time are subject as traitors.

    The "toolbox" is either flavortext or is one of the item things Ledge mentioned.

     

    rrhunt you have this chance to prove your innocence. Tell us your role and we dont need to waste time killing Crew Members

     

    Seriously though Tony Stark and rrhunt are the only people whose fictional characters their profiles are based on use toolboxes. So it should be either of them?

    We're not 343i we're just a community fan forum.

     

    However 343i has resolved matchmaking issues for most regions. What region do you live in? I know people in Asia, Austrila, and New Zealand and parts of Eastern Europe still experience a good deal of issues, but America, EU, and other territories should be fine. Unless you live in a rural region with low internet speeds.

     

    Any information you provide is valuable. Your matchmaking problems might stem from another cause. Lets help solve it!

    Isn't Warzone just BTB.... but bigger with some AI running around? :)

    Not really....

     

    Warzone isn't available in custom games for one thing. Plus Warzone maps are HUGE way bigger then a normal BTB map and I'm sure the BTB maps for Halo 5 won't be nearly as big.

     

    Not to mention the Warzone maps are not only limited in number but from what we know there are going to be like 3 objective gamemodes for Warzone(most likely more)

     

    Warzone isn't BTB rather its a different part of matchmaking entirely. Just like Spartan Ops wasn't Campaign. 

  22. Sony Not Implementing Backwards Compatibility on PS4

    I think the obvious answer and not the cynical one is that Sony simply doesnt want to waste resources/time/money/effort on implementing BC the same method of Microsoft when they can focus on improving Playstation Now which they have already poured a huge deal of money in + Playstation Now forces you to pay to play old games which means more money for Sony while Microsofts methods allow you to use your already existing library which saves you money if you already owned the game. 

     

    This is a shame though because I own some PS3 games I am very fond of and still occasionally play on my PS3 and that aren't on Playstation Now. Hopefully Sony reconsiders later on so I can finally get rid of my PS3.
