To add to it real quick, by quitting your not messing anyone up. To assume you are negatively effecting the team you left, one would have to assume that YOU would be a major contributer to the match
Actually in Breakout most players actually use gamechat. I've havent been in a single Halo 5 game since launch where I at least didnt find one person communicating with me in game.
Also out of all the Arena gamemodes ANY and ALL Breakout matches are heavily effected by the loss of one person because even your contribution as a distraction can be a deciding factor in a match.
I agree with the redundancy I find that fairly odd. I guess its to make up for the current lack of objective modes in Halo 5? Hopefully they remove it in future updates because Breakout can be fairly niche.

Maybe it was supposed to be funny but I didn't find it funny in the slightest, just kinda offensive.
The video was obviously satire and poking fun at the people who overly complain.
I love that 343i isn't pandering to us. By all means make fun of the fans who complain. If you are offended by a satircal video then it might be best if you reevaluate yourself.
A satirical video isnt the place to address concerns about the REQ system. If you have any questions or concerns 343i has dozens of way for you to ask them. I know you find what they did offensive but it isnt like they brushed you under the rug. You can still discuss the REQ system and they will listen(although the majority of the Halo community quite likes the system so I don't believe it is going away for the next game)

I'm not sure if you can get points by playing Arena.
You can get REQ points by playing Arena
Just play Warzone or Arena. Earn REQ points and when you have 10k just buy the Gold Pack. Or you can spend $2.99 instead but earning 10k REQ points is easy just do that instead.

. Spartans really feel like super soldiers.
This is my favorite thing about Halo 5 because the movement mechanics finally make me feel like I'm a genetically enhanced super soldier. I can zip around, get to locations in a fluid motion, and combat engagements feel so amazing now since you have more options then just strafe shoot n nades.

I bought the war zone bundle and it says it comes with 14 req packs. It finished downloading and I went to my req packs and there were only 2 there, not 14. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still nothing there. Someone please help me fix this.
That is because you get 2 packs every week until all 14 are out. You will get 2 more next week.

Actually to be correct you are right in the new weapon but it would only be the hydra Rocket , plasma caster has been in the game all the did was change how the round works the splinter grenade isn't new nor the turret but the turrets are in this game a lot more often.
The Plasma Caster has never been in any other game except Halo 5. Same with the Forerunner Turret or Mobile Gauss Turret.

Brutes are gonna be in Halo Wars 2 though! And I'm sure the Flood aren't done yet

Forge won't be coming out till December due to it not being fully finished when the game was slated for release.

I don't need to explain much do I? This started off as a joke back when Warzone was announced until we decided to make this a real thing.
Weekly Warzone Playdates will be a regular occurrence just as the title suggest. Of the 4 weeks of each month we will aim to cater to each timezone. (And since staff doesn't really have any members covering all the timezones all the time we may or may not call upon the members help so everyone has a chance to play)
Another note is that each week the event will land on a different day. Some weeks it might be Tuesday or the others Friday. We will always notify you in advance.
To start the launch week of Halo 5 and also give the game a few days just in case the servers end up failing on us the event will fall on
November 8th, 2015

As a PC gamer I do consider 60 fps to be a standard that next gen consoles should be held accountable for. But I get that splitscreen and 60 fps wouldn't both realisticly happen.
We are ok with 30fps and occasional spikes
This is the big deal part here. It isn't that 343i couldn't implement Split-Screen its that the current generation of consoles simply are not powerful enough to maintain a high resolution and 60FPS.
It is easy to say "Give us split-screen even if the game has to run at 30FPS during split-screen!" and heck I wouldn't mind that either, but the reality is there are much larger implications then just lowering the framerate. i'll run over a couple of scenarios why this most likely isn't possible.
1.)The games physics and mechanics could be tied to the Framerate
Since the game is going to be running at a constant 60FPS that means the experience of Halo 5 is fundamentally tied to this. This could be scripted events, cutscenes, actual mechanics, etc. There have been some games where the game physics are tied to the Framerate(The last Need For Speed game that came out for example) and when people doubled the framerate by changing the files the ENTIRE games speed doubled. Cars went twice as fast, flew twice as far, the same logic applies to lowering the framerate. Now I do not believe 343i developers made such a fatal mistake like this since no other Halo game has had this problem but remember that as a possibility.
2.)It could do more harm to the image of the game.
Similar to what I said above the experience of Halo 5 could be tied to framerate in a different way. It could very well be that having the game run at 30FPS ruins the player experience more then you might believe. This could tarnish the public reception of the game and hurt sells. Also to the uneducated consumer(which is a lot of the people who buy games) they might not know that Split-Screen will make the game run at 30FPS and they start the game by playing split-screen and their first impression could very well ruined because they were expecting a better performing product. This could lead to them returning the game and not recommending it to friends which leads to more lost sales.
I'm not going to like the fact Split-Screen was removed because I don't. I do like how constructive your post was and that you remained positive and offered a solution compared to most other people who just complain. Thanks for that its nice
While we won't have Split-Screen for Halo 5 there are some alternatives you could try to still achieve a "co-op" experience. It won't be the same but its still a way of having two people engaged and actively playing.
1.)You each use one half of the controller.
Seriously this is so much fun! I do this with my girlfriend a lot since she is not good at games whatsoever and we have a blast. She normally gets the left half and I'll get the right and we have even managed to play through most of Wolfenstein The New Order like this. Sure you won't have that same level of finesse you get with two controllers but this is a nice gimmick that could result in a lot of funny bad communication moments.
2.)You take turns.
As simple as it sounds. Just take turns with the controller. I don't recommend the "everytime you die we switch" method. Rather use a timer in intervals like 10 - 15 minutes and be serious about it. Don't say things like "just one extra minute!" because then you ruin it for the other person. You could also take turns playing missions or MP matches like "every 3 CTF matches we switch" or just switch after every campaign mission.

Probably THE novel to read if you're going to read any of the Halo novels. The animation of the series should be true to the story from what we've seen in the trailer but a lot of people are complaining about the armor sets and weapon models.
It is my understanding that the weapon model numbers are identical to those used during the events of TFoR and if someone could provide a source that contradicts that go ahead but we know how well 343i has been with maintaining lore I do not think they would make an oversight mistake like that, and if they did oh well it doesn't matter or bother me.

For one reason or another, we need this in Halo 5. I find multiplayer exhausting. I am too old and slow. I love playing Firefight or Spartan Ops solo.
Oh, I will occasionally jump into online multiplayer, but please have mercy. Give us an option to play some kind of simple PvE type game mode solo.
I promise to check out Warzone.

Warzone is the Firefight/Spartan-Ops replacement for this installment of Halo. If that doesn't fill your needs then be vocal about how you would like to see Firefight return for Halo 6!
Yeah me too! 343 is not paying any attention to the Halo fans and they want.
That isn't true. A very small number of fans wanted Firefight and Spartan-Ops back. More fans wanted Arena and 343i gave us Arena. Warzone is the current replacement for those two modes and we should happy because its everything that made those two gamemodes great with even more stuff!

I'm not saying the HtT trailers are canonical, he (and you) clearly stated that Chief had only had a cracked visor in the E3 2013 trailer, which is totally incorrect. It'd take being half blind to not notice Chief having a cracked visor in 99% of trailers at some point. It's almost confirmed Locke broke his visor.
It'd take a simple search on r/Halo to find dozens of images of Chief with his visor smashed, long after E3 2013. I'd attach one or two here, but iPad is awful.
Rather then just telling me that he had a cracked visor 99% of the time why not just show me and provide sources when you get the chance?

You're 150% incorrect here, in many trailers and screens Chief is shown with a cracked visor, likely caused by his tussle with Locke (also shown).
He isnt talking about the amount of times his visor has appeared crack(which I believe is only the E3 2013 trailer if I recall which isnt regarded as canon because ya know trailers aren't normally regarded as canon unless stated or hinted otherwise ) he is talking that the #HuntTheTruth trailers are not canon. Which is correct.

Probably a barcode of some sort but I can't imagine or have any clue what it is.

I listened to it while half asleep so maybe I missed a detail but I don't believe she betrayed Ben but rather help him push his ideal to further her plans. More along the lines of a "you were going to fail to begin with so I'll use as a stepping stone" kind of ordeal. Which for some reason seems less evil then it actually is
