  1. I think the opening cutscene from the Exodus mission of Halo: Reach is my fav. It never fails to wow me.
  2. I re-discovered HO just the other week, so I've already got it. I'll join in when I can, but only on le Sundy or Mundy from like 5pm - 6am US Central Time. Also, since Central ain't up there I is gon be apart of the Kangaroo Land since I'm basically living in Australia 2.0 (not really).
  3. I agree, the style is far too detailed for what's necessary. However, it's Halo, Microsoft will use it as their graphics posterboy for eons regardless of sales. Still, the pipe dream would be a simpler style where my eyes don't bleed every time I look at every freaking object. Like you said as well, it feels like they don't know what to do with negative space. Since everything is hyper-detailed, any blank area would stand out like a sore thumb. Going against what would seem logical for Halo, I would prefer Halo 6 take a step back, and decrease the scale, similar to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. If they can't do that for Halo 6 then they should make a spinoff similar to ODST, or Reach: anything to get us away from the galactic, comic book bullcrap they've been trying to spoonfeed us since Halo 4, which they completely derailed in 5. There's freaking nearly 20 years of lore they could use for this, and literally no-one's going to care if they don't do Halo 6. Any dead air between Halo 5 and 6 is good since that's more time for everyone to settle down, and actually be more open to a story continuing from 5.
  4. It depends on the game due to differing weapon mechanics. If you asked me what my all-time go-to weapon was, it would be the Magnum from CE. The thing is practically its own arsenal. Overall though, I'd have to give it up to these two weapons which prove to be all-around good murder sticks: the Railgun and Rocket Launcher. I chose the Railgun over the Spartan Laser because the SL utilizes a targeting laser that makes it difficult to undertake stealth kills, and it tends to have less ammo than either the Railgun or Rocket Launcher. Railgun: Pros: Has extremely fast projectile speed. Can kill a single target, or multiple weak targets in 1 or 2 blasts. Vehicles hit by a Railgun round are usually knocked over by the resulting blast. The profile of the player holding the weapon is significantly less than the Rocket Launcher. Cons: It's possible to kill oneself with the weapon, but an obstruction must be really close to the user. You've got to have steady aim to hit anything with this, and a single round wasted could be a critical error. Reloading, and charging animations are kinda slow. When charging, the light from the barrel will give away that it's about to fire, and can be dodged if fast enough. The charging SFX will give away that you're carrying it, but it's something that occurs for every weapon. An enemy player hearing it is also not much of an issue unless they can see you. The number of rounds it carries is so-so, but this will not be a problem if you know what you're doing. You better not let the enemy get this if you're killed while having a fully loaded Railgun. The Railgun isn't as hard to obtain as the RL in modes where only a few of them spawn on the map, but it's still a very valuable asset to have. Rocket Launcher: Pros: Blast radius is moderate, but can kill multiple targets: fully shielded or not. It's extremely good for clearing rooms of enemy campers. It will critically damage any vehicle it fires at, and is one of the major terrors of the battlefield of Halo. The RL, in this case the SPNKr, can carry 2 rounds instead of 1 like the Railgun. The firing SFX is quick, and doesn't give away the weapon wielder too easily. Cons: Due to the large blast radius, placing yourself closer to the epicenter of the blast can kill you. It's also really easy to betray teammates with this weapon, so one must handle it with care. Projectile speed is slow at mid-long ranges, and can be dodged the further you're away from the RL user. The thing is huge, and will extend the players model size to be more easily seen. Reloading animation is moderately slow. Even though the SFX is quick, and can be missed, once it's heard it's like an alarm is sounded: you're instantly made a primary target if someone knows you have this weapon. Ammo capacity is generally better than the Railgun, but is still kinda small. Missing a shot with a RL IS a critical error. Even worse than the Railgun, letting the enemy have this weapon must not occur. Letting an idiot handle the RL is like, the worst situation that could occur with this weapon. Using this gun to the fullest could turn the tide of the battle, and not doing so will decrease chances of winning. When spawned, the RL is something everyone and their mother tries to get, so obtaining one is a rare occurrence outside of spawn-centric modes.
  5. That tunnel cage is like something from Jurassic Park, I freaking love that. Overall really cool and funny, nice job.
  6. I don't restrict myself to having singular favorites since I like most of the armor. The configuration of my armor changes depending on my tastes at that time.
  7. thric mister chief lection is conformed to burn than you for tuning in to our psa, fins
  8. Brutes cus I'm sick n tired of dealing with the Elites all the damned time. Just give us the damn Brutes, 343! Really tho, they're more intimidating as enemies, and Brute Chieftans alone would make this a hands down win. An Elite coming at me with an energy sword isn't as scary as this hulking behemoth with a freaking huge beating stick blasting everything out of the way: not to mention these things can make themselves temporarily invulnerable.
  9. Jorge is the heavy. He's also extremely selfless, and the most human out of Noble. He goes out in the most selfless way, but also does so in a humongous explosion: saving Noble 6, his bestest buddy, from that same fate. Kat got shot through the head cus she's the brainiac, and because she seems to do some things that are not at all smart: like not having her shields up, or ******* driving off of cliffs. Jun didn't die because he likes to run his mouth, and it would be fitting that he be the one left alive to tell the tale of Noble Team. Carter went down with the ship cus he's the Captain... now... or was. Emile likes knives. He also likes killing the bad guys. Emile died pretty much the same way he killed others: as brutally as possible. He got gibbed by an Elite with a bigger knife, and someone who may be more bloodthirsty than he is. Noble 6, being forced to comply with "team rules" the entire game, literally becomes a lone wolf taking on every-freaking-body at the end of the game. This is like, normal Tuesday night for Hyper Lethal Vectors.
  10. Banned cus I'm actually in control, and I'm committing quadruple self-defeating subterfuge.
  11. You ain't Danny. I wish I wish upon a star that that freaking copy ninja's gonna use his freaking shurikens and freaking wood ninjutsus all over again.
  12. You ain't grisly. I tell ya what's grisly: I'm so tough that I shanked the Oreos repeatedly, and then pulverized them into dust before snorting them.
  13. The Second Noble 6. That guy is the most mysterious, and interesting character out of all of them not only because he has an entire assassins history prior to joining Noble Team, but because he's designated as a 'Hyper-Lethal Vector': apparently the only other person having this is Master Chief. Noble 6 took on an entire army by his lonesome, massacring hundreds or even thousands of soldiers, going berserk for god knows how long. As much as I like the deaths of the other Nobles, I think Noble 6's is the most memorable, and impactful... that is, if he was actually killed (343 pls bring ma bro back for Halo Sixer, pleasir mesir). Without him, Chief and the boys would've never found Halo. This guy's a real freaking hero, and is the cooliest I tell you whut.
  14. nooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- Will I come next, or will it be Melody? It's a race against time.
  15. IF YOU MEAN 100% DESTRUCTIBLE EDIBLE DELECTABLES, Y ES. Melody?
  16. If we're going by MCC then Halo 2: Anniversary. That's the real golden goose of that collection.
  17. YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT, I'VE BEEN TO THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN, OHHH YEAAAAAAAAAH. Kakashi?
  18. 343i said a few things about Map Packs not working for them I think around 2013. Halo 5's way of doing it, despite how much I hate it, is the most non-anti-consumer way as they could've made it... at least, in comparison to other, more antagonistic games. Having microtransactions limited to cosmetics and Warzone loot, and offering free expansions I think almost fixed the problem. It's not a perfect system, but it's a step in the right direction. I also remember the ages of Reach & 4, and constantly seeing members here complaining about not wanting to buy the Map Packs, but despite the hate that REQs have gotten I haven't seen that same sentiment for REQs: just a general hatred for classical microtransactions. If I had any suggestion for how to better improve this system, I'd say having maps in the REQ rotation, and as general unlockables would be one of those suggestions. It's so stupid it might just work.
