  1. As odd as Caboose's change may seem, if you want a consistent advocate of never voting null you only need to look at me. It WILL narrow the list down, so unless we're overrun by zombies we have a good shot at winning.
  2. Yeah, give the zombie the element of choice. Otherwise he practically doesn't exist and has no hand in whether he wins or loses. I think the Alpha will be happier about getting the element of choice back than about rule consistency. Though AFTER that I do agree that you should probably keep the rules as they are from then on.
  3. Yes, he could. And I'm probably eliminated anyway, so I don't mind all that much. I just don't like seeing people act like they've been wronged simply because their work towards creating propaganda didn't pay off as much as they'd hoped. It's not like they did anything heroic to deserve the votes.
  4. I stand corrected. Maybe you did put some effort in. But did you fight for it? Bleed for it? Because the amount of complaining I'm seeing is proportional to that kind of sacrifice. You think that banners, videos, advertisements everywhere, mean you deserve their votes more? If that rule applied to real politics we'd all be in an even worse spot than we are now. Like I said, the people will choose who they want. And this is coming from someone with a measly two votes.
  5. Spartan-IV. The Spartan-IV's we've seen so far are undisciplined idiots for the most part, but that doesn't mean other Spartan-IV's have to follow suit. They do have the POTENTIAL to be just as good as the III's, and MAYBE the II's, if they aren't being stupid. Would you rather have perfect accuracy with any weapon including improvised ones, or the ability to perform a variety of insane stunts (so long as they don't break physics) with perfection every time? For example, you could hit someone from a hundred feet away with a throwing knife right in the center of the eye, or bounce a ping-pong ball off the ground and then several subsequent objects until it hits your target. You could also pinpoint someone's fingernail with a sword slash perfectly every time. Or you could jump, flip, twist, and turn through a maelstrom of objects headed at you, catch yourself on the side of a building, push off and backflip to land behind the source of the objects...and repeat said feat or anything like it an infinite number of times without ever making a mistake.
  6. Why is everyone taking this so personally? Not a single person has done anything that constitutes actual work for this. No sacrifice, no massive consumption of time, nothing. A few campaign banners and topics, advertisements in posts and statuses, and people are acting like they've actually done something? If the tide is turned overnight let it happen. The people will choose who they want.
  7. Civvies are needed to win the game. Even if you die, you get a half vote so you're STILL needed to win the game. Take pride in doing whatever you can, and do it to the best of your ability.
  8. The Covenant theme has now been added to the overview. No changes to gameplay, it's just a reskin of the whole game. Any feedback on that?

  12. 1 time per round. And DAMN IT. Seriously, this rule change? If they overstuff a PM that doesn't negatively affect anyone but them, and that's if they intend to add more than 6 people. Without the power to add people to role PMs as proof, Pro-Town is incredibly disadvantaged. I mean, I impose that rule on Pro-Town in 12.0, but that's only because in 12.0 everyone has a role so Pro-Town would be incredibly OVER-advantaged if they could do that. This game has no such issue.
  13. Revenants should lose Zombification chance but Zombies should keep full infection capabilities. The number of vaccinations given out does not need to be changed. My opinion anyway.

  16. So, Mafia 12.0 is, at the moment, a rather experimental game much like the two games Destruct hosted and is hosting. The idea is that everyone has a role. Naturally such a thing is hard to balance. So, for your feedback, we present to you... --- Rules: 1. You are not to bribe anyone into revealing their role. 2. You are not allowed to commit suicide. 3. You can't intentionally aid the enemy team. Be loyal to your own. 4. Neutral roles don't have win or lose conditions. They can aid either side, or do something else entirely. They do as they like, and it's up to them what their goal is. 5. You may lie. 6. Your role will be revealed after you have died. 7. No double-lynching. There will be a second phase of voting, then we will resort to RNG if necessary. 8. You can reveal, or lie about your role. 9. Do not request a role, all roles will be determined through RNG. 10. You may PM anyone in the game to receive useful information and co-operate with them. 11. You can insert any evidence into the thread. 12. Due to the fact that everyone has a role, you may NOT invite ANYONE into your role PM. 13. Ghosts cannot use their role powers, but they can vote. Their votes are counted as half a vote. Roles: Arbiter's forces(10x): Spec-Ops Commander - Can learn the identity of any player once per round. Engineer - Can protect any player once per round. The protected player is revealed if they are targeted. If the player is targeted by more than one person, however (for example, Jackal Sniper and Jul 'Mdama's forces) they die anyway. Oracle - When killed, the identity of the one who killed them is revealed. Elite Zealot - Can kill any player once per round, but this power can be used only twice. Maintenance Grunt - Can reverse the Ranger's sabotage...if they guess who was sabotaged correctly. This power can be used only twice, whether successful or not. Elite Honor Guard - When a player is voted to be lynched, the Honor Guard may take their place and die instead. Spec-Ops Elite - Can fully restore the power of any player who has a limited number of uses for their power, but only once. Elite Ultra - Has two lives. Elite Councilor - Councilor's vote always counts as two votes, but the second vote is hidden from the public. Stealth Elite - Can reset vote count for all suspects to zero at any time before vote lock, but only once. Neutral(4x): Jackal Sniper - Can shoot anyone once every 3 rounds. So Round 3, Round 6, Round 9, and so on. Honor Guard Councilor - Can appoint anyone to be on the suspect list, but can use this power only twice. Honor Guard Ultra - Can release anyone from the suspect list BEFORE vote lock, but can use this power only twice. The One - ??? Jul 'Mdama's forces(5x): Storm Zealot - When he dies, his killer will also die. If he was lynched, he may choose ONE person who voted for him to die. In addition, he may cast a secret vote at any lynch an unlimited number of times. Storm Grunt - Can cast a secret vote, but can use this power only twice. Elite Warrior - Can kill two people at once, but can use this power only once and is revealed upon doing it. Hunter - Has two lives. The loss of one life reveals his identity. Elite Ranger - Can disable the role powers of any player for one round. This power may be used only twice. The player who has been disabled will have neither their name nor role publicly revealed. Role Status: --- Yes, I jacked the same rules page setup as Mafia 9.0. No, you cannot sue me for it. As you can see, Pro-Town's numerical advantage is much less pronounced this game to keep their vast array of powers in check. The Mafia also have received further boosts in power to make up for Pro-Town's more powerful roles. The game is planned to have a Covenant theme, which will affect scenes and result in re-naming of basically everything. But that's for later! Right now, we have to fully sort out gameplay. So, thoughts? Balancing suggestions? Pie?
  17. Grunt with the strength of a Hunter. No use looking like a Hunter if I'm weak as a Grunt! Btw, that was a trick question. Woodruff is my IRL last name. Which incidentally sounds rather presidential, so vote Woodruff for President. Has a nice ring to it, eh? Anyway, would you rather have the power of flight, or invisibility?
  18. Depends on whether or not the S-II failure impairs me. If it doesn't impair me, then yeah, a failed S-II. If it does...a successful Grunt. Grunt Ultra wouldn't be too bad, given that they have as much health as a Spartan's shields plus health on Heroic. Three times as much health as a Spartan's shields plus health on Legendary. Would you rather vote Axilus Prime or Woodruff for president?
  19. I don't think what he said applies to those. As for me I think the rules are fine as they are.
