this is actually a great idea.... me personally, i would prefer to see my rank while on the xbox and show off to all of my buddies.. I am competitive... but on the other hand there are a lot of gamers that aren't competitive...343 industries are just trying to keep all gamers with a since of happiness. the reason being for the April time is probably for us competitors that cant stand boosting and idiot cheaters... good luck 343 hope all is well with this......
