Every time I try to play spartan ops, or the campaign on multiplayer online, it drops me out with a network connection error. I have tried... Different discs Different router Hard wired and wireless connections Removing every other device on the network Reinstalling software Running game from cloud save Removing kinect Emptying cache Eventually I tried the Xbox at a different location, works perfectly. So the issue must be with my ISP. After nearly 2 weeks of phonecalls and a few attempts of them (apparently)doing something at the exchange they have given up trying to help me fix the issue saying that it is down to the speed on the line. I don't believe them. 2meg download and 0.4 upload, not fast but adequate I would think, I have no lag at any time or any other speed issues. Surely if there was a speed issue I would just get lag during the spartan ops, I just get booted immediately before the game starts. My question is this, is it possible that there is some kind of conflict between my isp exchange and the 343 server. I cannot for the life of me think of any other reason for this behaviour. Please please please any help or ideas that I have not already tried would be appreciated.

yep no problems and no lag I have now tried another set of discs. I have opened the ports in the new router reset the or emptied the cache, and hard wired the Xbox to the router all with no change. One thing I have noticed is that the same thing happened when I try to play the campaign on multiplayer on live. Something that I had not tried until last night. So it seems to be affecting more than just spartan ops.

As I said discs are perfect. And the connection runs very fast with no lag ever.

My Xbox is the limited edition top range reach box, with no problems with any games or use in any other way. My broadband is fast enough to do anything I need including streaming he films etc. with lo lag, or any game lag whatsoever wile playing games including playing halo 4 multiplayer works fine. The discs are perfect I have uninstalled the first disc to run from the cd drive instead of running from the hard drive. I have uninstalled disc 2 and installed from download via Xbox live. There are no problems with the discs. Any other suggestions of any use?

Hi, been playing for a while but every time I try to play spartan ops online, just as I go to choose my load out I get booted off. The message that comes on the screen is..... connection error You have lost connection to the other players in the game. Please try again later. It ALLWAYS happens, I have yet to play spartan ops with anyone else, but it works fine on my own. I was sent a new router from Bt, but it has made no difference. I have uninstalled disc 1, no difference. My friends living up the road have no problems, so I am at a loss. The only thing that I can think is that I have the limited edition reach console, is there a conflict between reach and 4?
