  1. I agree with ordinance drops being unbalanced, think about it, player a gets a power weapon, gets lots of kills on player b, player b gets barley any kills because player a is killing him with poet weapons. Because player a is getting lots of kills, he gets even more power weapons, or a double damage or an energy sheild. Its a vicious cycle.

    Classic mode?

This is probably the best solution o the whole,h4 is cod argument, it gives the players what they want.
  3. Stealth pilot, I agree with the fact that it isn't just copying cod, but i think that halo 4 is less of a halo game, I don't like most of the features, but people are just comparing it to cod because it's the most well known game that has those mechanics in at the moment.
  4. That's not quite a valid explanation or solution, I don't agree with the whole "h4 is cod" idea but there are a lot of aspects they have taken from, not Cod but rather games like cod (cod's not the only mms) things such as default sprint, the perk centred loadout system, regenerating health. And also things that aren't just cod like mechanics, but generally imbalanced and not needed mechanics, like pro-vision. I think 343 are falling into the trap of trying to cater to a too wide audience, no trueskill rating, rewards for everything (medals for generic kills) it makes new players feel like they are top dog. In another thread someone made a great point, that someone that is genuinely not good at the game can easily achieve a high rank and be matched with high ranking players that are much better, this is unfair on both parties. with a halo 2 style ranking system this can be resolved. You can't as a company try to take on a such a massive IP with a large dedicated fan base, and make such drastic changes to it. You are going to piss off a lot of people.
  5. I have to agree with op here, but I don't think removing It completely would solve much. I think that a better idea would be to nerf It in some way, such as If you have pro-vis equipped, your motion sensor is removed, that way you can't just pop I when someone gets in your (possibly extended) mo-sensor range. Or another way could be rather than pro-vis marking someone completely for the whole duration, maybe only marking them in the position that the wave hits you in that way the whole tracking around corners problem is removed.
