Im going to have to agree with Spartan Rider. They have changed too much of what made Halo the game that it had always been. They tried taking what worked for CoD and implemented it into the latest installment. Campaign was fantastic and very much Halo. I just don't understand what they were thinking with multiplayer. What killed it for me was the new armor. Too "cool" i guess, they were trying too hard to make this their own game, and strayed from their origins. The new armor looks stupid and way too foreign to the halo universe. Should have just tweaked it slightly from the reach models and id probably still play the game.... also if they didnt have those stupid f****** loadouts. We know CoD is popular to the masses, but please stop trying to make a lovechild with it and just be yourself. <--- what 343s mother would tell it

I personally stopped playing multiplayer because they strayed too much from what Halo was, and made the game for the casual "COD" crowd. They cater to the "ADD" crowd. The kids that can't enjoy a game without instant and constant gratification (racking up kills every 4 seconds). I dont understand what they were thinking at all. Not only with the retarded loadout thing, but the armor as well...... WTF is up with the armor. I guess a child, at first glance would think it looked "cool", but i think it looks ridiculous. Absolute s***. 343 tried to make Halo their "own". But truth be told, it isn't theirs and never was. Stay true to the Bungie Halo and the players that have been loyal to the franchise will keep coming back for more.

Well he speaks for me, and many others. So dont bash on people and tell them to take their business elsewhere. We are all entitled to our opinions. Unfortunately you have one as well. Let everyone speak, and if you have nothing of any real significance to say. Just stop... think... move on

Really? I dont understand why people post things like this. Just because someones complaining about an aspect of a game, doesnt mean they dont want to play it. Some of us have been playing Halo since Combat Evolved and havent stopped since. Some of us have invested alot of time into the universe by reading all the books. Its not so easy to just drop Halo because your upset. Thats why people post on here. In hopes that 343 hears them and for the valid concerns to be addressed. Me personally, i thought the campaign was amazing, and definitely one of the best ive ever played. But i hate what they did to multiplayer, and all the Spartans, and their armor. These are my opinions. I personally liked Reach multiplayer much bettter. It didnt feel like i was playing COD.

I have no iontention of getting angry about anything in this game. It is an amazing game, and i think the hard work and time 343 put into it shows. But... I have to say i was terribly saddened when i switched over to war games and found what i thought to be call of duty. Halo has always been in a different category than COD and Battlefield. I own all these games to switch to the game i feel like playing at the time. I dont want Halo to become a game that caters to the masses to bring in more people playing. I love Halo for what it is. I absolutely loved every Halo prior, yet i feel alienated by this one for some reason. What happened to my armor?The names remained the same for some. If it was any other game id say the armor looks awesome, but its simply not Halo to me. Even though they are technically Spartan-4 models. I want the old armor back. Not these slits they call visors in helmets. Every Halo prior has had primarily large visors, and almost all of them have been replaced. Its so depressing to feel alienated by this game that ive been playing since my early teens back in the CE days. Please 343, i understand that your making your mark and making Halo your own, but try to ease us into it. It really is frustrating to love a game so much and yet feel so alienated by the same game a moment later. COD may be popular, but will you sell your soul (metaphorically of course) and change the game to be more like the competitors, or stay true to Halos nature, and keep us happy. And please everyone, dont bash on 343. They are doing what they think is right by us. But please 343, dont make a different game with the same name. If you keep making Halos, fans will keep coming.
