I would like to add and suggest, a DLC playdate, with the point being that we play only DLC maps. If we have enough members, we could go into mm and therefore have a much higher chance of playing a DLC map and the chance to earn achievements on them.

Well, you might just want to use a premade gametype by other forgers. I assume you just want one Slender at any time, and only the one appointed at the beginning of the round. In order to do that, keep flood lives at 1. That way, the humans will not respawn as flood and will have to watch the cameras of other players. Here is an early Halo 4 version of Slender, this may be what you are looking for. The gametype and map are in the description:

Armor abilities have been confirmed not to be in Halo 5: Guardians. However, there will be new Spartan abilities, like hijacking vehicles etc. (This is all in the words of Frank O'Connor at E3). It will be interesting to see what they have in store for us.

Some ideas of my own: Invasion mate! Forge contest with showcase event (Hint: this is a great one!) It has been over a year since the last thread, and I feel this needs to be something that is constantly being updated. The staff are doing a great job of coming up with ideas and so is the community, but many of the member hosted events are having only reasonable success. In order to help the staff and members gauge what can be a very successful playdate, please present your ideas. As a community we host a variety of customs multiple times every month, with changing gametypes and competitions. We have more than a few scheduled for the next few weeks in Halo 4 and other games. Once MCC comes out, there will most definitely be customs hosted by the site. As for just getting together with other members and playing for a few hours of mm or something else, it happens everyday.
