I don't really like that scene it makes the elites look like dumb and weak . I don't think the Spartans would have won that easily.

I think there would've been more of a fight but those Elites didn't have shields and that's why the Spartans had the advantage along with having firearms instead of two-handed weapons. One Spartan can take a Brute Chieftain (Halo 4 prologue) so 3 should be able to take a large group of shieldless Honor Guards
