  1. This needs to be dealt with. We can not live in a world without Halo 2! Its completely absurd! Help do what is right and sign my petition, all it takes is a click! http://www.change.org/petitions/343-industries-to-bring-halo-2-back-on-xbox-live
  2. Why would they not do this?! Bring out a full version of Halo 2 downloadable off the XbL Arcade. They did this for Halo 1, but Halo 1 has no online matchmaking, It would be awesome for Halo 2 to come back online. It would not be hard at all and it wouldnt be that big of a hit but would a good bit of people playing it. They would easily make enough money on it to run the servers. There is no reason not to!!!
  3. They have a 50/50 chance of being successful with H4. Make it like H2 and H3, or make it like Reach. It is the great civil war. Oh, and as long they make it like H2 and H3, they will succeed in making a very good game
  4. So there is a lot of people who would agree with me on a lot of these things. More so than people who wouldnt agree. Campaign No one cares just make it good. Everyone just beats the campaign, gets all the achievements, and forgets about it anyways. Multiplayer Here is where things get interesting. As most of us know the reason the Halo franchise has gone down hill is because of its multiplayer. Ranking System: First thing you gotta realize is that Halo was always a game that took skill. In Halo 2 if you werent good you would not go up. Thats how it should be as that shows your true skill. Bad kids should never be able to play up against good kids. The good kids never get better and the bad kids never win. When you have a numbered ranking system such as Halo 2's, you get a number that shows youre true skill. Thus, you will get matched up with people that are the same skill lvl as you or a little bit better. Consequently leading you to being a better player bcuz your skills are progressing. With no numbered ranking system it is impossible to do that. Today I played Reach, I went into MLG and got my ass stomped bcuz I havent played in a very long time. Then I went into Team Snipers and went 26-4. Thats not how it should be. There is no excuse for that, its a poorly put together game. That would have never happened if I had a number next to my name telling me what ranks I can match up with. There is something about having a number next to your name, it shows how good you are. When you take that away and put in an xp based leveling system, you **** up the whole system. This needs to be watched: Weapons: Bring in all the new weapons you want 343! But promise me one thing, the BR has to come back, thats all I want!!!! Armor abilities: I am going to start out by saying this: There is no spot for armor abilities in any Halo game. Bungie really got way to ahead of themselves when they put that **** in. I guarantee not one person at Bungie, during the development of Halo Reach, actually took a step back and realized what a huge mistake they were making. It doesnt make since at all as to why there is armor abilities. I mean think about it like this: Halo Reach happened supposedly before Halo 1. So, how the **** did they have more advanced armor? Doesnt make sense. The only way for it to make sense is if there was armor abilities then they got rid of em pretty quickly. Because I dont remember seeing any in Halo 1??? So it makes no damn sense as to why there would be more advanced armor in a time period before Halo 1. Take the stupid **** out. It takes the original feel of Halo away and turns it into something completely generic and boring. Armor abilites are fkn stupid. Bloom: Why is there bloom in the first place?! Halo 1 didnt have bloom? You had to lead youre shots, but there was no spray element. Halo 2 had no bloom? Halo 3 had no bloom? Why the **** put it in? Dont put bloom into Halo 4 and I will be happy. Most peoples arguments at me and this post will be that Bungie needed to evolve the series. Which this is true, because every game needs to evolve. But what Bungie did was complete insanity. Its like, to evolve a game into something better you have to change a few things while keeping the same core elements. Bungie I guess said **** that. My problem with Reach is, that it is not a Halo game at all. The only similarities to other Halos is that it is a FPS and some of the guns are the same. They didnt evolve anything, they made a completely different game. What 343i needs to do is pretend like reach never happened and build and think of ways to evolve Halo 3. Halo 4 has a number behind it. Thus it should be like the others with a number behind it. We all need to forget about Reach. In all honesty, I think overall it was a good game. Would I ever spend $60 knowing what I was going to get? **** no I wouldnt. Halo is dieing. There is an average of 45k - 50k ppl online a day. In Halo 3, there was 180k+ a day. The numbers dont lie. Me and all of my friends played H2 and H3, but when Reach was released we went to Cod. Its very sad to see such a good franchise go so far down. There is no desire to play it, when all you get for a win is some credits, the same thing you get for a loss... Its a noob friendly game now that doesnt reward the skilled. So skilled players should have no reason to play.
  5. Spartans are super soldiers. They should be able to ******* jump 4-5 ft. Like in halo 2 and halo 3.
  6. Guess what game was the biggest release in entertainment history? MW3..... You wanna know why? Because its another Modern Warfare. Another game in an ongoing series. A game that stayed to the original. The game that all their fans loved. You add better graphics, a lot of new maps, a NEW ******* RANKING SYSTEM, a couple new weapons, and a new story mode. Thats all you gotta do.
  7. First thing you gotta realize is that Halo was always a game that took skill. In Halo 2 if you werent good you would not go up. Thats how it should be as that shows your true skill. Bad kids should never be able to play up against good kids. The good kids never get better and the bad kids never win. You progressively got better by playing ppl as good as you and winning and going up. So you got to play ppl a little better, and that cycle continues, which, in turn, made you better. When you have a numbered ranking system such as Halo 2's, you get a number that shows youre true skill. Thus, you will get matched up with people that are the same skill lvl as you or a little bit better. Consequently leading you to being a better player bcuz your skills are progressing. 8. If you have no deranking than it is just like Reachs ranking system. There needs to be the ability to rank down. You gotta understand that there should be a number that tells how good you are. Like in Halo 3, If you went up it shows your HIGHEST SKILL, if you ranked down you could still say you had that rank. Also, that gives you the desire to want to gain that level back and maybe even pass it.
  9. No, no no no no no no no. If youre not good you shouldnt have the chance to level up. Thats the point. I dnt understand what people dont get about that? I played halo since Halo 2s release 7 years ago. When Reach came out I quit. They lost a dedicated fan. And I can tell you one big part of my decision was the ranking system. You werent rewarded for how good you are. You werent credited for all the hard work and long days of playing and practicing to get better. You were rewarded for losing, just the same amount for winning. There is no justification for that. Its a noob friendly game that doesnt reward the skilled players.
