PLAYING HALO! playing baseball, aerospace engineering, video game design, building scale models.
that way when you nail a squad of elites with a couple grenades or a tank shell, all that is left is a bloody crater mixed with scattered body parts. this is possible with the reach game engine. and the fact that the xbox 360's gaming potential has yet to be reached, it would be easy to make. AND NO BRUTES IN HALO CEA! they werent in the first one and they shouldnt be in the remake!
mix the halo reach graphics and engine with the movements and gameplay of halo ce and throw in some new environmental effects and particle simulations and you will have one insane game! we need to have the riggings of the halo 3 flood mixed with all of the characters and made more resilient.
That exactly what halo needs. I love the grenade explosions lifting dirt into the air our the plasma colored rings of the bolt hitting the ground and burning it. None of this reach stuff with funny dinosaurs and dollish vehicles. Bring back the Ce effects, but make em better.
i dont think it is so much the characters as it is how they move and the actual terrain. i want a god aweful bloody mess when i reduce an elite's brains to wall paint. i loved it in halo ce when you would shoot an alien in the head in ce and you would have a blood surrounded bullet hole in the wall with an elite crumpled on the floor below it.
