The aim of this project is to be both an artistic tribute to Halo and a fun way to experience Halo on PC, Mac and Linux free and legally. Our primary goal is to recreate the multiplayer experience of the Halo trilogy, bringing in features from all Halo games to make the ultimate multiplayer sandbox!Q: When is this being released?A: Short answer: 8-12 months, no promises.Long answer: We’d like to include several well-made maps and a solid arsenal of weapons and gamemodes in our first open beta build. Depending on how many more artists and programmers join the team, we are looking at an 8-12 month wait until our first publicly available build. However, there will be more trailers and information released as we progress, and hopefully the teaser trailer we just released will serve as a shining beacon to talented folks in the fan community. Twinreaper Posted November 28, 2015 Report Share Posted November 28, 2015 You really need to recruit a few people that know the Halo shader and texture tags/system to improve the bsp environments you recreated. Not sure how much original content you are using versus ripped textures and shader simulation though. For a rough start it's looking good though. I wish I could help and contribute somehow, but the most I can do right now is pick my jaw off the floor, applaud, and attempt to send internet cookies (while silently hoping to find Mark V somewhere).
