FlashFire 2 Report post Posted May 2, 2016 Hi, There has recently been some development in reviving Halo 2 Vista multiplayer with GFWL shutting down the master server unexpectedly in September 2015. The solution that has been developed is called Project Cartographer, a way to play Halo 2 by using the Network browser. It's NOT similar to Tuungle or Hamachi, as it's much more concrete than that. Some benefits include: A fully functioning multiplayer Dedicated Servers Peer Hosted Games Less Lag/Latency (since we're using the Network browser) FOV changer Mouse Fix (no more mouse lag or slow sensitivity) 60 fps lock without vsync or other third party applications Custom Resolution support (includes 4k) Controller Remapping (Duranzo) A new launcher Right now we have a growing population of around 100 players. Twinreaper 2,318 Report post Posted May 2, 2016 Thanks for the mention Drizzy, but I am officially retired from ALL things Halo. As far as H2V goes, I have already destroyed my lifes work of resources and moved onto bigger and better things. That being said I do wish all involved good luck with the project.
