Melee combos

Hi XxTox1cXReaperZ here I'm suggesting an idea of melee combos like punch (left hand) punch(right hand) Kick or kick and with right or left hand stab enemy in shoulder.this would enhance the melee combat.

Sounds real interesting. I'd love to see what martial art the Spartan-IVs would be trained with. The combat could play out similarly to how Mirror's Edge's combat does. This sounds great, I hope 343 do something similar to this in a future Halo game, taking assassinations a few steps further.

I think this could be involved in an assassination, not regular melee. Maybe it could be a punch right hand, left leg kick, then a finishing stab to the neck.

I kind of agree with what you're saying, but I think that button combos should be more for assassinations. Maybe certain buttons together make a different kind of assassination? Or I think it would be cool to add something: If someone is assassinating you, you could perform a combination of buttons to reverse the assassination! That would be neat~

Fun fact: Melee combos were originally going to be in Halo 2, but due to time constraints Bungie was forced to scrap it.

 

Fun fact aside, I don't like the idea of a melee combo, its seems kinda pointless if matchmaking, but im all for it in custom games ( for machinima )

Were do we put the gun then? You don't have time to put it in your back in close quarters combat.
