They joined not for Reach, not because they were taken as children, but because they saw something more to being a soldier and took it in their hands to be the best they can for the sake of humanity as well as their own. They're less of instruments, and more human, as seen with Miller and Team Majestic. Superiority isn't just gun-play nor fancy gadgets, but package beneath the armor. Spartan IVs.
