Windows 9 Coming in April 2015

Windows 9

 

Windows Blogger, Paul Thurrott, recently stated in his blog some very interesting news concerning Windows 9. 

 

 

You can read the full article here, but basically this is what's coming: 

 

• Windows 9 is currently code named "Threshold"
• Windows 9 will be distancing itself from Windows 8
• Microsoft will be "maturing and fixing the 'Metro'  design language used by Windows"
• Microsoft will produce 3 milestone versions
• Windows 9 is expected to be released April, 2015

​This doesn't really tell us much about Windows 9, but at least now we have a release date and can expect more updates on this in the future.
