I think that they should make a halo game not about the unsc but about the covenant from a elite or brutes percespective it should start off with an elite who just landed on reach and follow his journey throughout the rest of the war with him starting as a regular soldier to becoming a commander to first person shooters perspective of the battlefeild to a halo wars,black ops 2 striketeam mission approach.with everything from shooting marines to commanding grunts to attack a base to sending a battalion of cruisers to go to war with unsc controlled planet. this game would tie in everything the halo games have been so far aand much more.

This sounds interesting but I would feel bad going against the UNSC. It wouldn't feel like real Halo when you are not playing as a Spartan or ODST. We can play as Elites for a bit of Campaign or Multiplayer, but playing as one through out the whole campaign killing UNSC...I would feel disgraceful. We would get obliterated when we have to face a Spartan though. It's still a creative idea.

I like that idea I don't think I've ever really thought about it. For instance I read books and played the games, but I still feel like I have very limited info on the Covenant, their lifestyle, ranks, and history. I would love to play as an Elite and earn my way through the ranks, command units, and learn about the Covenants lifestyle. I'd buy that game in an instance.

they need to understand that people like to play as elites so let us have a campaign that specialises in the elites

Or they could have a campaign like Halo 2 where you play as the Arbiter in certain missions. Or they could have a game that takes place in the events of Halo 3, where the Sangheli joined forces with the UNSC, and you play as one of them

I've heard someone mention this before, but how would it work? Would it be like an RTS game when you command units, like a Halo Wars 2.
