I know that there are 5 Rings left, but how many were there to start. i know it's supposed to be 7, but in one of the Halo books i read it was nine. if anyone knows if there were 9, or what i misread, please post below. I heard this along time ago from a book called Cryptum (I think it was called that.), but I have never personally read the book so some one else should elaborate. You are correct, Vore. =3 There were 12 installations in the original array. And the book is indeed "Cryptum". I wonder what happened to the 5 missing originals, and why they weren't replaced. I'll have to re-read it. I'm actually looking into buying Cryptum myself, cause I've been told its a great book, the story is good and it could be possibly related to Halo 4. Thedidact Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 "SPOILER" There where 12 originally built but I believe 4 where destroyed by forerunners defending the forerunner capitol. 7 where transported to the ark then sent through out the galexy. but the one which the timeless one abides on I do not know but we will find out in the next book halo: primordium.
