I don't understand why people are so against the idea of elites in matchmaking. If people want it then let them have it. It's not like they affect you, you don't have to play as elites so why bowel at the idea of elites in MM?

It's the idea of playing against Elites in MM that upsets me, as in 3 when you'd end up with Spartans vs. Elites. It's a twist in the gameplay that doesn't make it any more fun.

If put back the Elites on MP, the story would have to change, setting Elites as allies. It would be possible in Halo 5.

 

But I'm still thinking that Elites vs Spartan, or Prometheans vs Elites, or vice versa, would be great.

They deliberately made them larger and tougher in Reach, with the justification that they were bigger, easier targets.

But elites are jerks. They bully me. They shoot me, they kill me, they hurt me. And when I try to give them a hug the one hit melee kill me!
