Your level is slowly moving up (there is one, not shown, there must be) as all the slayer games I've played lately have all been very close and competitive. If I get 2 friends around the same level as me, the games seem to always end within 5-10 kills one on another. I've also got 5000 kills and I tend to be more of a support class, so I've got about 2000 assists. My K/D isn't the most important part of my game for me because I play support so much.
