You cannot introduce 6 new characters in 1 game and expect a player to care about them, especially in a game that focuses pretty much entirely on action. As for the other Halo endings, they are trumped by a number of games. I could be wrong, and you can fact check me if you want, but I'm fairly certain that these lists are opinions.
