WildxOne1350 Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 My 360 was sent in for repairs and Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary was going to come out while it was being repaired, so my brother-in-law let me borrow his. I started playing offline and got about halfway through the campaign, and I realized that I had not recovered my account to his 360. I had many achievements, including "Heavy Reading" (Read half the terminals hidden throughout the campaign.), and when i recovered my account they were gone. That was frustrating, but I started over and redid all of the achievements up to that point, but the "Heavy Reading" will not unlock. I even have the "Dear Diary..." achievement (Read all of the terminals hidden throughout the campaign.), thus proving that I should have unlocked the "Heavy Reading" achievement. I have used the online chat services, sent emails, and called customer support. Now I am here... Things I have tried; ~Deleting all the games file from the 360's memory and redoing all of my progress multiple times. ~Relocating EVERY terminal in the game multiple times. ~Contacting customer support and trying everything that they have recommended, as well as the online ambassadors. ~Clearing my cache. I am a huge Halo fan and have most achievements in the other games. My goal is to get every achievement in all the Halo games, but I can't do that with this achievement glitched... Lego_mario0000 Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 Yeah this happens with many devices, the console basically belives you already have the achevment or something like that because this happened to me on both my wii and my iPhone. All I did was wait for the next update but unfortunately updates are rare on Xbox so I have no idea of what to do, perhaps downloading the game to your Xbox?? Undead Posted June 21, 2012 Report Share Posted June 21, 2012 Okay here's what you have to do. There's a program out there "not going to say what it is" that allows you to mod your Xbox Achievements. I suggest doing that seeing that you already did it legit you will still feel like you accomplished it. Just don't mod anymore Achievements with the mod tool though or you'll most likely get reset for Modding your Gamerscore. The reason I'm not giving out the name of the program is for the simple fact this isn't a modding site and I'm not sure if its allowed to be talked about. Having a mac usually makes running programs more difficult ... You won't get reset for modding just one Achievement trust me. Microsoft can't tell if you mod a few achievements.
