BBright
I've been obsessed with the Halo lore since the release of CE and I got my hands on the first 3 books ASAP. Since then I've read Contact Harvest and The Ghosts of Onyx and been fairly pleased. I just picked up Evolution's V.1 but haven't started yet. Cryptum was not in stock and I'm debating whether or not to order. I've never really had much interest in the Forerunner "history" in previous games and books, but since it seems important among the forum goers I figured it may be add more to Halo 4. I'm cheap as hell and it's selling for $16 which if I'm disappointed will just be a waste of gas money. Just hoping to get some feedback as to whether it will really add to the H4 story! The Director
Cryptum is a must read for die-hard fans of Halo. It will explain everything about the forerunners, the humans, and even give insight to the precursors. After Cryptum though, is a book called Primordium which a lot of people forget about. My suggestion is to read Cryptum and then read Primordium before Cryptum gives you any ideas. lol

Mr. Bashful Brute
Certainly worth reading. Explains a lot about Forerunners and early Humans. Great book. Very well written, too.
