343 has shown that it doesn't know how to manage the halo series. the community further depletes as we speak, and it is, in part, 343's fault. this is because most people don't like to play out-of-date games, they want what's fresh. if the new game is either bad or not as good as it's predecessor, many players don't know where to go, and simply don't play. and 343 ruining or taking out many of halo's selling points is not the way to go. you cant argue that halo is not as popular as it used to be. that is not all 343's fault, however, they are not doing anything to help. lets be honest for a second. halo is getting more like CoD with each game. deny if you want, but you know it's true. 343 tried to please everyone, but ended up with very few real fans. many of halo's original values have been either removed, or changed for the worse. a short list I came up with off the top of my head: end game is bad, Spartan ops is not worthy replacement for firefight, less emblems, bad armor, ordinance drops instead of preplaced weapons, bad ranking system, little to no custom games, forge sucks, lack of game types (yes I know they add some, but its still not much) removal of many weapons, infection is gone (yes I know there is flood, but you cannot customize it in custom games anymore. infected can ONLY have sword thing, etc.) bad maps, boring and repetitive multiplayer with higher level players having advantages. ranking system not based on skill, unexplained (or unclear) explanation of covenant enemies, NO graphical improvements less features, less vehicles, mantis OP (and IMO unwanted), armor abilities, loadouts, keep in mind this is not a complete list this is just a list of things I can com up with off the top of my head while writing this. maybe if we can come together on the forums something will come of it. unfortunately, most original halo fans have given up hope and wouldn't think to come here. but if you have, like or comment for support of change or resell of halo's franchise. -
Hi, I'm playing Halo for some time, stoped and now I have the oportunity to play Halo 4 On march 6 a friend lend me his copy of the while I was waiting for mine. Since then I played the campaign in normal and some online Infinity wars. On march 20 my Limited Edition of the game reach my home and now i'm playing it with all the DLC installed. What I found about the game in these days and what I realize now. I can't achieve the Crimson DLC achievements since there's now Crimson DLC rotation, I don't understand why they took it away, maybe some people want to play on them. Even thou I have the DLCs while I'm playing Matchmaking those maps never appear on my rotation, since not everyone has the DLCs (i think), that's why people need those map rotations. The leveling system is lacking comparing with Reach (almost imposible to finish it), I see lots of 130 people around. Maybe new especialization will be nice. Soon, they will delete the Majestic matchmaking for something new and those achievement will be floating there, imposible to achieve. Now, this is Halo, a very good franchise, people expect to play the game for years (i hope the game will work on the new xbox), you just can leave things out because you want, just add new stuff but don't delete the old. Now the other stuff, I need people to play the campaing on legendary with me, I suck and need help, I'll just leave my GT here: I L0k1 I. If there's a group of people that want to play, just add me and I'll play. Thanks. PD: If I found something new, that I don't like or need a fix, I'll come back here. PD2: The devs reads this?
