  1. 2K has finally announced the highly anticipated Mafia III after many years of rumors and speculation, with a full reveal coming soon. Mafia II was an action-adventure game developed by 2K Czech and published by 2K themselves, the game released in 2010. Now, 5 years later, 2K has finally announced Mafia III, with a formal reveal coming August 5th at 5AM PST and 8AM EST at Gamescom, according to GameSpot.com. Interestingly, the developer has changed, with a newly formed studio called Hanger 13 leading the project. The image released teases the new location and shows what seems like the four main characters interrogating and inflicting pain on a person lying on the ground. In a statement, 2K said, "Mafia III is the next installment in the popular series known for immersing players into a world of organized crime through rich narrative storytelling and a beautifully crafted game world featuring period-accurate cars, music, and fashion." This comes after a slew of teases and rumors about a future project, ranging from rumors of Mafia III being a current gen launch game, to one of Mafia II's main voice actors teasing Mafia news in the near future. Pillar #2: A Bunch of Fun Things to Do Staten proceeded to tell a story about a possible gameplay scenario in Destiny, in which Staten’s Warlock class character and Jones’s Vanguard (Staten explained that every Guardian wields some of the Traveler’s power: “You can call it magic, I guess.”) head off on an adventure together. You’re at the Tower, a reinforced monolith that serves as your home. Here you can socialize, gear up, or group up and then aim for the stars – literally. Many other players mill about. Some you may know, some you may not. Some are making plans for adventure, but others may simply be watching the sunset – a worthwhile endeavor thanks to the spectacle of Destiny’s new engine, which pairs real-time dynamic lighting with global illumination for some truly spectacular vistas (one of the few things I actually did get to see with my own eyes). Jones is a higher-level player, and as such has better gear, including an impressive sleek, black spaceship that makes Staten’s smaller, simpler vessel look like, in his own joking words, a “Space Corolla.” Ships will serve various purposes. Only a Scout class was specifically mentioned, though it was implied that space combat will factor into Destiny as well. Mars' Exclusion Zone is controlled by the Cabal. Whooshing to Mars, the pair finds “the bones of a lost human civilization.” It’s “an ancient city,” Staten detailed. “Buried in sand. The precious remains of a golden age.” Here to prevent you from reaching any of the literal gold that’s rumored to lie beneath the ruins of the Dust Palace are the Sand Eaters, a group of massive, armored rhino-esque creatures known as the Cabal. A shootout soon turns ugly for Staten’s Warlock and Jones’s Vanguard. Fortunately, a mysterious female player – rocking a Hunter class – speeds in on the very Ghost-like Pike vehicle and helps turn the tide thanks to her unique weapon, dubbed “The Fate of All Fools.” The battle was won thanks to invisible, behind-the-scenes matchmaking that linked the players – think of it as the next evolutionary phase of Bungie’s groundbreaking hopper technology that served as the online backbone for every Halo game starting with 2. Instead, it just lives and you’re always in it when you boot the game up. Can't imagine why... Within the game proper, Jones said they know that players “don’t want to work hard, they don’t want to read, and they don’t’ want to go to the Internet to figure out our bull****.” In other words, they understand that what they’re making is escapist entertainment. “This has led us to a huge investment in [user interface],” Jones explained. Bungie art director Christopher Barrett dubbed Destiny a “mythic science fiction” universe and shared a number of locales we can look forward to visiting: the Cosmodome Breach, the ruins on the edge of the European Dead Zone, the swamps of Old Chicago (likely a nod to Bungie’s original home city), derelict fleets floating in the rings of Saturn, the earth Moon’s Hellmouth, the uncharted depths of Reef, giant obsidian pyramid ships, mile-long tomb ships, and much more. Then there are the characters we’ll be encountering: fellow Guardians in at least the Titan, Warlock, and Hunter classes; the Fallen, the time-traveling robots known as the Vex, the aforementioned Cabal, Spider Pirates and their rusted machines, evil space zombies, the FOTC (apparently a Guardian faction of some kind) and...that's everything they'd cough up for now.
  4. A playstation 4 reveal is set to be held on February 20th, quite a bit of time before E3 which will be held within the first week of June. This article is from CVG A post and video on the PlayStation firm's official blog invites fans to "see the future" at an event set for February 20 at 6pm EST. Sony has also launched a countdown website with the tagline "be the first to know". CVG understands invites have been sent to media and investors for a 'PlayStation Meeting' in New York City on the same date. A first unveiling of PlayStation 4 - or 'Orbis' - would fit with CVG sources' indications this month that Sony would unveil its new console "in weeks", well ahead of June's E3 fanfare. In January 2011, Sony held a similar PlayStation Meeting event in Japan to officially announce the PS Vita, before revealing fuller details at E3 several months later. According to a recent Kotaku report, PS4 will support "multi-user simultaneous logins", allowing multiple users to be signed into accounts simultaneously on a single console. Other mooted features include a rebranded PlayStation Home-style social network and a prevention measure against pre-owned games. Sony has publicly suggested that the next PlayStation will not go on sale before Microsoft's Xbox 360 successor, although one senior CVG source called the suggestion "ridiculous" considering the ground Microsoft gained by launching the 360 a year before PlayStation 3.

So as we basically have not see anything about destiny yet except the concept but do you have anything you would like to see, anything you would like bungie to go into detail about, campaign, story, multiplayer? Nothing has been said what exactly we will see, there is also another destiny reveal coming in late march at the Game Developers Conference. BY: Mike Jackson Microsoft's changed its logo after 25 years with outs previous one, and now it has colour. The new logo switches up the font and slaps the iconic 'Windows' logo on the left, adding a bit of colour to it but also, more significantly, representing Microsoft's new efforts to unify all its platforms with the squares seen on Xbox, Windows Phone and soon the Windows 8 Metro platforms. MS says the logo switch comes "in advance of one of the most significant waves of product launches in Microsoft's history". BY: Mike Jackson Microsoft's changed its logo after 25 years with outs previous one, and now it has colour. The new logo switches up the font and slaps the iconic 'Windows' logo on the left, adding a bit of colour to it but also, more significantly, representing Microsoft's new efforts to unify all its platforms with the squares seen on Xbox, Windows Phone and soon the Windows 8 Metro platforms. MS says the logo switch comes "in advance of one of the most significant waves of product launches in Microsoft's history".
