  1. Gamertag: FatAussieFatB0y (The 0 is a number and not a letter) Map Name: Simon Say's Gamemode: Simon Say's (Slayer FFA) Description of the Map: Simon Say’s is a fairly straight forward Minigame that uses a simple but effective game style. All players spawn on a coloured Dance Floor, a TV positioned to the front of the Dance Floor shows what colour the Simon (random generator) has chosen, Players must try to survive for 2 minutes or be the last person standing. (A more complete description of every part of the map will be explained below along with pictures of the map). Pictures of the Map: An image of the screen once Simon has activated a colour. (This is the only indicator of what colour Simon has chosen) What the default screen looks like when Simon is yet to choose a colour. What happens when a colour is chosen and 1 second passes. (This is subject to change depending on the colour Simon chooses) This overview shows off an obstacle that the players will be faced with when the game reaches 1:00. (Just in-case you missed it, the obstacle is the black coloured blocks. That will encourage players to remember the locations of certain block colours) The Gravity Hammer spawn location, useful for keeping the peace or causing Havoc. When a Player Dies they are sent backstage to hang with the Sangheili DJ's. Pocket in the Wall where players can stand if they can't reach the chosen colour. Updates: And that’s about it. The Minigame is fairly simple but is a lot of fun with a group of friends. Hope you all Enjoy! <3 FatAussieFatBoy
  2. More Gametypes On The Way! (343 industries) If you haven't noticed the monthly updates of armors, weapons and even maps, 343industries has been launching new content every month as previously promised, (Lasting till at least June 2016). Last month we saw Infinity's Armory give us Riptide, and Urban and a couple of pretty cool weapons and armor, but something that the community has been long asking for was their cherished custom games and gametypes. Well this month 343i is delivering. The February update will launch with the famous, Grifball gamemode and Assault gamemode, which will be playable via multiplayer and customs. 343 had called on Grifball enthusiast Jeffery "Nokyard" Fischer to help design and test the new Grifball gameplay. "Nok worked with our Weapons Designer, Daniel Wiksten, on trying to get the damage and impulse blast of the hammer to feel right. This collaboration helped us hammer out (pun intended) the delicate balance of Gravity Hammer vs. Sword vs. Ball that Grifball so heavily relies upon. We leveraged Nokyard's wealth of Grifball knowledge to try to make the most exciting Grifball yet, complete with thrusting Grif, Ground Pound kills, and ball throwing. Playing Grifball during playtests over the last few months has been some of the most fun we have had in the new building." - Multiplayer Designer Max Grossman A popular gametype, designed by the same people that love playing it, holds promise. Assault, like I mentioned will also be seeing a comeback. It'll be a neutral bomb in multiplayer at launch, although there is always room for additional variants to be added. In addition to that, there will be a plethora of options available for the experienced, and inexperienced forger to create other great gametypes, utilizing the new gameplay style in Halo 5 given the new abilities. Fiesta will also be making a return so now we may be able to finally make a proper Ro Sham Bo map... This update is set to launch towards the end of the month. 4. Welcome friends to this months Top 15! It's February! The month of love and friendship! With Valentines day just past, most members have been in a more upbeat mood, whether it's love or you just ate to much chocolate, you guys have had a lot of fun this month. When Edward, Self Destruct Zaguroth, Tony Stark and I brought the list back last month we wanted to make sure we got this back on track, so this is only the second of many more to come! Given the fact that everyone has had fun the last couple of weeks there have been a few that have stood out. The list is in no particular order so you guys figure out which one is better, give a hand for your Top 15! If you didn't make the list this time don't worry! Next month could be your month! 5. February 2015 Member of the Month! A day late, perhaps, however it is better late than never. This member is renowned across the forums and has quite a few accomplishments under his cap. He's a bit of a troll (still in training but he's getting better) but is known for being both verbose and eloquent, sometimes even at the same time. He's been very active around the forums for quite a while and is known for his roguish sense of humor. He is considered a friend by many and has been reviewed for this award a few times. Now he finally gets it, and it couldn't be more well deserved. Well maybe it could, but still. I mean, none of us are perfect. Except for me. But I digress. Who could this be, you ask? Why it's none other than... Congratulations, I hope you enjoy your month in pink!
  6. Hello members of the community! As you know every month on the 25th a list is delivered to the forum. A list of 15 names selected by "The Great Committee." (Red, myself, the piece of bread whose name escapes me, Swaguroth, and xXT0T4L_M4YH3MXx) This month saw many newer members step up and really begin to benefit the community by adding meaningful content to discussions, hosting playdates, and even being a friendly face to all who enter the shoutbox. There were so many members to choose from this month, so many doing things to help the community. Because of this there have been rocks thrown, shins kicked, members of the committee booted, bread roasted, and heavy misuse of the word 'swag.' But we've become better people for it. Bnus and I have actually really enjoyed working with each other and being a part of this selection committee. (Of course you should still remember that bread cannot be trusted.) Oh, right the list! Here is the list of the Top 15 Members of February! (In a conveniently alphabetized order) Caboose Death Rhino Ubetrol Fishy HaloGeek JL - Whatever your name will be this month JXZAW Pbrabbit RRHuntington Self Destruct TheDumbMarine Twinreaper UNSC Spartan-II Vaultingfrog уαηg χιασ ℓσηg Zelda Honorable Mentions: Halo5Follower Mr. Biggles I would like to be the first to congratulate each and everyone of you. All of you performed amazingly and really earned your spot on this list. I look forward with anxious excitement to seeing what each of you will do in the future for our community!
