    Dear 343 industries for a month me and my friend mark wayne have had a problem with the story mode aka campaign every time we beat the mission regret on legendary it crashes or magically gets disconnected I ask PLEASE fix the campaign for master chief collection my patients is wearing thin

     

    You should try reinstalling the game or restarting the mission, worked with me (the restarting the mission, never had problems big enough to try reinstalling.).

    I have finished H2 with no problems.besides not reloading my checkpoints, so restarting the mission worked. Define magically disconnected since it sounds like you two are playing co op campaign.

  2. Hello there StatePancakes first of all, welcome to the forums. I think there was a credit limit in the early days of Halo Reach, but if I recall correctly they removed that early on in the game. 

     

    Maybe the system banned you since it thought you were glitching or something, you could get a credit ban for joining games while AFK, just so you can easily get the credits. But you need to be more specific on what you were doing, maybe then we can help you further.

  3. People play halo because they want to play with their freinds because you can't win a battle In multiplayer by yourself. So 343 HAS TO ADD drivable Pelicans/phantoms because that's why people play halo, being with their freinds. Also it would be EPIC if u could drop down in ODST dropships and flank enemies and be strategic in your gameplay. People play halo over COD because they don't run around like a headless chicken taking random shots at what they hope is the enemy. The wolverine is a must and so is the gremlin. The gremlin could be used to give the positions of the enemy to teammates. And please don't make this aim down sight, this is halo not call of duty or battlefield. dead bodies would be epic, for example: marine, energy sword, through chest or ODST, armless. It would give a unique feel to the atmostphere of halo. Enemies you can spawn would be epic especially flood. More vehicles like gungooses (halo wars) or too seater ghosts. please take all these into consideration.

    Also another thing, taking halo wars stuff, it would be awsome if you could command grunts where to go if u play as an elite

    And one other thing but not to do with forge. NO SANE PERSON WILL BUY AN X BOX ONE JUST FOR HALO 5. If you will do not have it compatible with x box 360 u will have some very angry gamers. For Every 3 ps4 there is one x box one sold. U want to make money? The make it compatible 360. You may think " well no one was angry when they said Titan fall was only coming out for x box one!" Well Titan fall isn't a franchise. Look at the new forza not that big game, but people (gamers) were furious. Imagine what they would do to halo! The best in the business. I'm only trying to help. I have an x box one, but not all players are extremely Rich and probably go for ps if Xbox one prices don't go down and halo 5 doesn't come out for 360. I'm just trying to help. Who better to ask than someone who plays the game all his life.

     

     

    A lot of people would buy  a xbox one for Halo 5. There is a very good reason for it not coming to 360 and it's called graphical limitations, Halo 4 pushed the boundaries of what the 360 could do, switching the big open enviroments from Halo 3 and Reach to the small detailed enviroments of Halo 4. Examples of why porting it to 360 would not be a good idea are games such as Shadow of mordor and Dragon Age: Inquisition, while both games run on the 360, they are tuned down so much that a lot of the defining features in those games have been cut out or downgraded, the nemesis system in Shadow of Morder is a lot less diverse than on the xbox one and the game runs at around 20 fps with frame drops. 

     

    Halo 5 will not be out for at least another 9 months and if so the xbox one would out for approximately 2 years, the 360 while still being supported will be over 8 years old and is just not a console capable of keeping up with the current gen.

     

    Titanfall itself is btw a franchise and is a pc and 360 game as well. Forza is one of the xbox exclusives which is actually a rather big franchise.

     

    The xbox one already had price drops, I bought mine for 300 and this included a copy of titanfall, for 65.

     

    The 360 is on it's way out.

    I would love to see a "mission maker" of some sort. Allow us to spawn in AI's and edit their teams. Allow us to set paths of certain AI's and setup custom mission objectives. I would like to be able to customize the AI's we spawn. (Change an elites color, strength, skill, rank, etc). I want them to add ALL OF THE VEHICLES FROM ALL HALOS. (Spectre, Shadow, Elephant, Mammoth, Pelicans, Phantoms, etc). I know this is a long shot but allow us to spawn in the ships from halo. (Frigates, cruisers, etc Along with their weapons) I know its a long shot but it can be done. Bigger walls and windows. No limit to placing things in forge. Graphics Editor. Terrain Editor. Music/Sound Editor. Advanced scripting. (Allow us to script in Lua possibly.) Be able to "Test Run" the game while in forge instead of having to quit and load up a custom game. Allow us to setup intro/outra cutscenes by using the camera and setting AI paths. (ex. Set a pelican to fly away at the end of a mission and have the camera watch it.) Possibly a map with a seamless transition from the ground to space. (Would allow us to setup a big space fight and have a grond fight go on at the same time) I know this doesnt directly tie into forge but add a custom server list. This would allow people to find custom games easier and allow clans to operate easier. That's about all I ask for 343 to add. I know it most likely wont get added, but i can still hope.

     

     

    One word, Computer.

     

    This would not run on your day to day gaming pc, you need some heavy hardware to run such a thing. Seamless transmission from ground to space is hardware heavy, only game going for it is no man's sky at the moment and it is it's main feature.

     

    The other reason is that what your asking for is not going to run on a game pc.

    This requires a pc which has been build for designing purposes it has to render a lot.

     

    While I like the idea, this is a rather advanced thing you're asking for and comes closer to a dev kit than a forge mode.

    The reason people don't like the changes to Halo and compare it to Call of Duty is one simple reason:

    Competitive vs Casual/Arcade

     

    Halo 1 was an amazing competitive gaming title (and still is)

    Call of Duty is an amazing arcade title, if that's what you enjoy.

     

    Halo has deep roots in competitive gaming history and the more and more they try to compete with Call of Duty's sales, the more it will fail because it loses the competitive niche factor.

     

    Also, sprinting itself is not the problem with Halo. It's the other garbage they have packed into the last 2 titles. Jet packs, thrusters, drones, "killstreaks" (basically)..

    It all started with Halo 3 when they introduced the gravity hammer, bubble shield, power drain, etc.

    Overshield and active camo was more than enough.

    Another thing that ruins these great competitive titles?

    Rewarding failure.

     

    We don't need an achievement/trophy or a medal when we get a kill after we died 6 times in a row.

     

    "Yay I get a reward for playing like crap!"

     

    Call of Duty does it the most, but Halo is really starting to catch it.

     

    Example:

    MW2..

    Running on top of a building, jump off, break ankles.

    What happens?

    LEVEL UP! GUITAR SOLO! MEDAL! ACHIEVEMENT! WEAPON UNLOCKS! NEW BADGE! NEW LOGO! Blah blah blah.

    Halo is a competitive title, an arena based shooter.

    Cod is also a competitive title, but a fast paced arcade shooter.

     

    But Halo is not a grown man game and cod not a preteensy one.

    People of all ages play these games.

    I played Halo in my teens and I still play them now, same counts for CoD. Even though I love Halo more than CoD.

     

    Halo had to change, no doubt, otherwise people will start complaining about how it is all the same again, same as with cod.

     

    Even Activision realised this (somewhat late) and handed development to another team. Advanced Warfare kept its core CoD gameplay, but added another layer of movement.

     

    Pretty much how Halo kept it's core gameplay over the years with some additions to it. Some bad and some good.

     

    The MCC changed nothing in the MP of for Halo 2 and instead added an anniversary version of Halo 2 or any other MP for that matter.

     

    People complaining about MP in the MCC (besides it not working, I complain about that too.) Are blinded by nostalgia.

    Halo 4 is considerably faster than Halo 3. Even the game play from Halo 5 looks way faster than

     

    It would be fine if all of these things were in the game and you were able to turn them off, however the maps are designed to be played with such things making it impossible to play at a faster pace without them at this point.

     

    Look at Reach and H4, all of the maps are vertically based in some way because the jetpack was in the game. H5's maps look to be pretty good and the sprinting mechanic does seem more balanced, but all of those abilties are not needed. It would be fine if just sprint was there, but it isn't and thats the main problem as to why Halo games have been failing.

     

    You say we can't have the same game over and over, but yet H1,2, and 3 were all essentially the same engine with slight tweaks and improvements. Reach added so much to the game that it broke how it played.

    Halo 4 is a lot faster compared to Halo 3, I agree that Reach added too much, inbalancing the game in the progress.

    Halo 5 looks faster than Halo 4 in terms of movement and reaction speed. None of the abilities seem to be unbalanced and they seem to be more focused on tactical balance. People are already complaining about ground pound yet, it keeps you still in the air for 1 to 2 seconds and you light up like a flare, making you an easy target.

     

    Sprint does not recharge your shield.

     

    Before you can charge or slide you need to reach maximum velocity and can do one of those, a wrong charge and you are open to attack, a wrong slide just the same.

     

    Thrust adds faster movement options and more options to adapt to a situation.

     

    clamber keeps you still on a ledge for a second again making you an easy target.

     

    Stabilizer holds you still in the air.

     

    and the smart scope has been in Halo far longer than some realize hey just added more weapons to the mix.

     

    All these are based upon the concept of "On the right time at the right moment."

     

    You say that the Halo games are failing yet the MCC boosted xbox one sales. Halo is gaining ground back which Bungie lost with Reach, one step at a time.

  7. because ground pound and shoulder charge totally make the game faster. The game was fast paced before sprinting was introduced.

     

    AA were clearly a failure.

     

    Dual wielding and hijacking have nothing to do with any form of fast paced gameplay (talking competitive here), and assassinations have always been in the game.

     

    Assassinations were introduced in Reach.

     

    The comparison here is that hijacking and dual wielding may not have increased flow in gameplay, but are still among features people want or people expect from Halo.

     

    We can't just have the same game over and over again.

    Ever wondered why the sales and popularity declined after those flawed mechanics were introduced?

     

    It upsets the flow of the unique gameplay that Halo had, it wasn't like every other game on the market.

    Why do you think tons of people were excited to actually be able to play H2 online again? because it doesn't have all of those faulty mechanics that don't fit the gameplay.

     

     

    Whether you like it or not, Sprinting along with other abilties, do not fit in Halo.

     

     

    (and to the people saying that spartans should be able to run, they were always running.)

     

    I don't see any problem with sprint, in fact sprinting removes your shield generation, making it a more tactical choice and balancing gameplay at the same time.

    The other abillities which they showed off are open for change, but do make the flow of the gameplay a lot faster and brings in a big chunk of arena type gameplay.

     

     

    A lot of new mechanics were introduced with other Halo games as well, such as dual wielding, hijacking, AA, assassinations. 

    Sprinting fits in Halo wether you like it or not.

  9. It should be under your download history. The other thing you could try is reinstalling the map packs (either via download history, but it's better to use the menu in H4.) 

     

    I can not get it clear from your story, but did you do a license transfer to the new xbox?  DLC can give errors if the console does not own the license.

  10. Man this looks so incredibly sweet. 

    As soon as I saw the feet I fgiured it would be armor from the Halo Reach.

     

    The helmet looks a tad small though, wearing it with a visor in it might be a little constrictive, could also be the camera view btw.

     

    Did you already decide on what color your striving for?

  11. The bubble shield that can make all players inside of it invulerable from the outside? Yeah right get rid of it. I really hope they get rid of perks like that and the rocket jet pack, sprint, etc.

    The old halo 2 multiplayer was the best. Halo 4 started to feel like it was strafing away from its roots and more into the CoD realm.

     

    Hoping for a straight up shooter that focuses on team work and aiming, not fancy shield bubbles and jet packs.

    yeah just keep it out of multiplayer.

    invulnarable is an overstatement, the thing could handle long distance, close by not so much.

  12. Im fine with old games coming to Xb1 and Ps4. :)

     

    The original resident evil was a brilliant idea.

     

    So was Halo ce, and possibly Halo 2.

     

    But we don't need Halo 3, 4, Reach, Odst and maybe even Wars on Xb1.

     

    Those games you can still play on 360 anyway, sure the servers will be shut down but who cares by then H5g and maybe even Halo 6 will be out.

    Who is really going to go back to Halo 4 when they can play H5? not me.

    Halo 3 is still played and Halo 4 is still played, bringing them to the xbox one ensures them to still be played.

     

    Resident Evil 4 is also seem as one of the best they did and Halo 2 brought online competitive gaming to the console.

     

    There is no need for these games to come to the xbox one, still a lot of people like the idea.

     

    maybe they just do it for their paychecks, but everyone in the world works for those.
