  1. In days gone by I enjoyed forging, perhaps this is a concept someone else could use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNTxdPl0nuI
  2. No! Unless this one breaks. If nothing in life is determined, is it then random?
  3. The easiest way to be sure would be to check over the game via theatre, if you're sure they are cheating for what it's worth head over to waypoint. Come so late in a games cycle is often that people are just very good. I kid you not. As far as I'm aware Halo 4 runs off client side hit registration so if you're suffering packet loss it often appears players are cheating, in reality whats going on their screen is different to yours, hence why your often shot at whilst just reaching cover, or the weapon sounds are delayed from being hit. So if like me you have shoddy internet, what you see is in effect ahead or behind of what the other player are seeing.
  4. Well it's the most preordered game for next gen consoles, that's the proof I need.
  5. It's made its way across all Halo communities http://www.forgecafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=1631
  6. I'm the journalist at Forge Cafe, I made an accounts a while back at various other Halo community sites to get a flavor of other communities and whilst submitting a mini game I thought I'd stay a while, introduce myself. Rather than just reflect from an arm chair. That's all you need to know really! Look forward to taking a more active role here. I'll take the opportunity to give a mention to Zandril. An amazing community member 5/7 days of the week, the other two he's sub standard
  7. Shootout Shootout is a mini game capable of hosting 16 players. Each team starts with a pistol and nothing else. The spawns place the teams directly opposite each other in a classic stand off, after the brawl survivors are left to scavenge what ammunition they can across the street. Your ammunition is your most able resource and collecting it naturally carries a risk, the high street itself provides little cover and is unforgiving to those who wait there, doing so will leave your pray to a number of threats - players may travel the rooftops of the buildings or burst out of hiding whilst your cross the map, or even spawn behind you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAHCT3ila1s The igniting spark for the game came whilst playing 'Red Dead Redemption' with a certain Unusual Hiccup a moderator at Forge Cafe. Before each game all team members are in a small arena where they have a quick shootout before the games 'normal' match begins. Without directly copying this idea I wanted to recreate something similar naturally with a Halo Flare. But even before this, the idea has been something me and friends have been toying around with since Halo 3 whilst in Forge; creating gladiator style maps where players had only pistols and no movement speed. To separate it from other gladiator style maps the game continues when a player has died as everyone has three respawns, not only does this avoid as much waiting on the screen it also makes the game somewhat faster as there is less care for that 'one life' that leaves everyone hiding behind each other. The gametype for this map is also called 'Shootout'. Gameplay of the map and gametype can be seen below. Apologies. Didn't add an image here! -
