While it's 38 outside, I'm stuck inside wheezing and sniffling. It takes real skill to get a cold in the summer.

Actually a cold has less to do with temperature than your resillience against diseases. Only extreme temperature drops increase the chance of getting a cold, but again this beats down on your resillience.
