Its not nice to wake up Jester early , i get really grumpy !!!!! seriously though, have some respect, no one is forcing A Dog to be on the forum helping people, he does it because he wants to do it, we all do this in our spare time, so folks have a little respect, and dont be naughty!
  8. With loads of games hitting the high street this week, it's heartening to see that there's not too much as far as games go on the Xbox Live Arcade this week, with top-down space shooter Fusion: Genesis providing sci-fi action for you and a friend in co-op with six storylines to play through. Check out the trailer below to see what it's like. If you're in the market for some deals though, you can check out the Legendary Warriors sale, which sees discounts on Deadliest Warrior content, Scott Pilgrim: The Game and half price Shinobi. Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Elite is now live, and a trio of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record skill packs are also available this week. Finally, you'll also find Fight Night Champion for Games on Demand, MW3 items on the Avatar Marketplace, as well as Sonic Generations Avatar stuff. 9. Alan Wake is back, and although he's not getting a disc in a box this time around, he's still looking good on the Xbox Live Arcade, toting what appears to be a nailgun with his trusty flashlight and a marvellous flannel shirt that's just like one I happen to own. Look at the road sign behind Alan's torch beam, and you'll see it says Night Springs, offering a strong hint that the XBLA game will indeed be Alan Wake: Night Springs as previously speculated. Take a look at the very first image of the game below. Remedy is promising a full standalone Alan Wake experience on the Xbox Live Arcade with its Wake follow up, and we know it's only one screenshot, but we must say we're pleasantly surprised by how good it's looking. There'll be more Alan Wake XBLA at the VGAs on December 10th

  12. BioWare isn't just all about the Mass Effect y'know, and with plenty of irons in the fire at present, the Canadian developer will be adding yet another with the impending reveal of a new franchise at the Video Game Awards show next month. How's that for an early Xmas present? To whet your appetite for the game's reveal, BioWare has released a teaser image showing a massive collision among the white sands of a desert, with two buggies crashing spectacularly, sending a poor little fella flying through the air from his driving seat. Will he be thrown to safety? We'll just have to wait and see when BioWare lifts the lid on its new IP at the Video Games Awards on Saturday, December 10th, with the show being televised on Spike TV, MTV2 and Spike.com at 8:00pm EST.
  13. If you can bear to tear yourself away from MW3 or Skyrim this coming weekend, EA and DICE are holding a special sweepstakes weekend for Battlefield 3 from November 11th-November 13th as a thank-you to the fans for playing and supporting the game with their "passion and loyalty" since its release two weeks ago. The 'Battlefield 3 Says Thanks' Sweepstakes weekend will give players the chance to win prizes if you play in multiplayer during the sweepstakes weekend, with three pretty big prizes up for grabs. Play Battlefield 3 online between 12:01am GMT on Friday, November 11th and 11:59pm GMT on Sunday, November 13th and you'll be in with a chance of winning. First prize is a round-trip to visit Battlefield 3 developer DICE in Stockholm, Sweden with three of your squad buddies for three nights. You'll get a tour of the studio and introduction to the development team behind the game. The second prize is $5000 USD (or your equivalent local currency) in cash, while third prize is a brand new console with the complete back catalogue of Battlefield games for the system. You can find the full rules to the competition at www.battlefield.com/saysthanks, although the last time I checked the page had yet to go live. Battlefield 3 will also be getting an injection of DLC with the Back to Karkand map pack in December, It comes with four remastered Battlefield 2 maps, new weapons and vehicles.

  21. In something that befits a launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's magnitude, reports abound that professional masked highway robbers in France have rammed and hijacked a truck, stealing its precious cargo of video games, in what sounds like a heist from a movie. That stolen video game is apparently Modern Warfare 3. The truck was reportedly driving through Créteil in southern Paris, before being smashed off the road by another vehicle and set upon by two masked men brandishing knives. The thieves then used tear gas to subdue the truck's driver and his colleague, before making off with the vehicle's contents. Initial reports didn't specify which game had been stolen from the truck in Paris, but subsequent stories sourcing French news agency say that the thieves took 6000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, valued at somewhere in the region of €400,000. Blimey! Modern Warfare 3 is out tomorrow.
  22. The new horde 2.0 is outstanding, with building fortifications etc, plus the maps are excellent.
