I dont know. When you see the flash and an outline of something, it sure does look like her. But when they show images of Earth and the Doctor says they were taken 6 months ago, That kinda shoots down my whole Cortana idea. Of course it might be a collection of a bunch of different people's memories.

Might be alive after all. From what the video shows in the one Spartan Ops Episode, it sure does look like its her. Looks like she'll come back as a new type of AI with Forerunner tech.

So does anyone have any thoughts on the fate of Cortana?

Whether or not they plan to bring her back in some way, I have no idea. But if they don't, then they have really screwed the series up for good. Even if they give him a replacement AI or give him a another copy of Cortana, it won't be her. Its pretty sad 343i had to kill off a major character to get people talkng about this game. Glad I only paid $27 for this crap. Thanks for screwing up a storyline I've loved for years 343i, YOU SUCK!!!!
