  1. Yep. Hard to sympathise with 'Crimson' when I never actually get to see him interact with the outside world unless its down the barrel of his gun. With the animated scenes preceding each episodes, I definitely feel like we're just being given some Firefight games loosely strung together while 343 tells us the exciting story of Halsey and Majestic.
  2. A good idea - far better than the expected Call of Duty Spec Ops we all expected, but they're far too short. Ten minutes per mission on normal difficulty with two players is not long enough for episodic content. I would also prefer it if the missions had a more narrative feel - sure, we have a few characters to meet and we get a cinematic every now and then, but the missions just boil down to 'destroy this' and then 'kill these'. The consistent reference to scientists as 'eggheads' throughout is also grating. Can we just have one likeable NPC? Is that too much to ask?
  3. And that's the way it goes. Battle rifles are for life. Not just for Christmas.

    SWAT

The only thing I would do to improve SWAT, aside from adding some extra, more close-range maps (Okay, I'm a battle rifle user), would be to add a compass. The maps are too confusing during a firefight to get any accurate bearings without a compass. For example, Solace has a 'dirty' base and a 'clean' base separated by the thing in the middle. So, these are our landmarks. Problem is, the only way to spot the difference is to actually investigate a base first. A compass would solve every navigational problem there is. That way, we have North Base not Dirty Base, and on the more circular maps, you can guide your teammates using logical directions, instead of yelling "That bloody ramp over there."
