well from what in heard this map pack seems to be very good like crimsison cannot wait to play

Before this came out, it was thought that Destiny would be subscription based. In the long run, a $60 selling point didn't seem like it would cut it for Bungie making any profit, based on what appears to be such an incredible scope to the game. So to counter that and help make Bungie a profit, it was thought that the game might go to a subscription based service, similar to WoW or other MMORPG's. It would be easy enough, but eventually it was announced the game is not subscription based, YIPPEE! Although, another way to make a profit is the microtransaction, trading money for power.
