The Hard Light shield canNOT destroy vehicles. If you throw it up you WILL get splattered by the vehicle. Yet...a rocket can't get through it and rocket's do more damage than vehicles.

Hello, I am not looking to start a 30+ person clan where we all get together, yada, yada, yada. I am looking for 3 other great players that may be interested in doing GameBattles. At first we will play some MLG game types on Halo Reach and if we stick together we will become an official team. If you have a decent shot with the DMR and are excited for Halo 4, add me. We will discuss the different roles, Slayer, Support Slayer, Support OBJ, Objective when I have a definite 3 others I want to do this with. GT: ForbiddenWoods Prerequisites: Must have a gaming headset. ie: Turtle Beach, Tritton, Astro, any good headset to actually hear the world of Halo around you.

I have never really noticed a grenade problem in Halo.

RoosterTeethFan nailed it on the head. Armor Lock is long gone, the shield is an ability, like Promethean Vision, so you pull it up if you are getting shot at.

That was my idea originally, too. I just wanted the Halo Reach issues to be corrected, Reach had SO MUCH potential but kind of crashed and burned, I still have fun on Reach but once I get Halo 3 back I will probably play that more.

Yep, 343i has honestly took a lot of ideas from Reach and actually developed them. Reach is so awkward for people who have been part of Halo since the original because we are used to a very basic shooter that took lots of skill whereas Reach tried to develop that basic shooter. In the end Reach armor abilities felt like a last second idea rather than actually a well thought out plan, 343i has just made corrections to lots of those things. Examples: Thruster-Packer=skillful jet pack Hardlight Shield=armor lock but you are not invincible (vehicles still splat you, grenades still work on you, assassinations, shot from behind)

The thruster is just as it sounds, a thruster pack on your back. It is not a jet-pack where you can fly into the air 60ft, it is simply something that will give you a like 2 second boost, or something along those lines. It will propel you forward, backward, left or right but not up. So far it seems like it will be a strafing tool rather than a nooby glitch tool.

Alright, I am literally jacking this thread from another very reputable website. We are getting more insight about changes since E3 multiplayer built. DominoTheory & Mastrbiggy stated via twitter: Overshield invincibility is gone in newest build, Carbine a tad nerfed, and Pistol has unknown changes. Thruster also goes to 3rd person view as their way of balancing it in the newest build. Promethean vision nerfed. Promethean grenade = Emp field stays for a few seconds. The radius is similar to that of a plasma grenade explosion. PV has longer recharge time and shorter usage time PP DOES stun/disable vehicles I'll update this article if anything else is added. I think we can trust 343i to have their internal beta because the way it has sounded so far is that they are bringing in tons of top tier players/glitchers/etc. to check out everything in the game.

The likelihood of Halo 4 not being on Pro Circuit in the future is low as 343 talked about the customs being made so that you can literally make the game your own if you want. They actually specifically stated, "MLG Players" when speaking of it.

The more I surf this forum the more I want Halo 4 in my hands right now.

Hey guys, I am going to be having a game night July 13th, that is Friday the 13th. What am I going to be doing exactly? Playing MLG based custom games. I have not played xbox in 2 months and decided that it is time to do what I love. If you want to be part of this simply message me or leave a post here and I will invite you, obviously it will be 4v4's but if I honestly get that many people then we can get multiple lobbies going so people can interchange between them. Also, if you are going to have friends with you let me know by posting here so I can account for them.
